I’ve been coming here for years! Maybe 20 years. Chicken is usually on point. Only bad thing is, it’s in the heart of El Monte and can be rough in the area. You will get sketchy looking people there and that makes the service tough. The workers are usually a little mean to rude but that’s what El Monte is about…. Just be patient and don’t expect them in a good mood.
always great service, and have Tenders ready ever time I come not like other Church chickens this one is my go to.
They ALWAYS forget to give me fries. the food is ok. parking ok. This place has drive-thru and dine in.
The best chicken sandwich I ever had goes to the bird! Their chicken was the juiciest I've had and had so much flavor! Wasn't too oily and the fries weren't bad either! Sandwich was pretty huge too. I'd definitely come back and recommend them!
The food is great, the people are friendly, the prices are great, and they get your order right..! I recommend whoever is reading this to go if you have the chance..! Go with friends, family, husband/wife, children, people from church..!
Food is ok given its a fast food friend chicken but alwaya get sick whenever I eat here. Could be the me but always happens when I eat a piece here. Will always choose a box of biscuits over the chicken.
$2.49 could at least fill it up.Biscuits way to hard last 2 visits. Upsets me when a manager or assistant manager takes & gives you your order and you receive one napkin,Cold biscuits, Cole slaw not filled correct.
1st not all Churches are created equal, some are really really bad but this location has great tasting chicken as well as good service in my past years experience, which continues to bring me back.For Thanksgiving we did fried chicken instead and boy was it a big hit by comparison to past years with cooking turkey. Kids especially loved the biscuits, Mac n cheese and good to have some other sides ready available that everyone enjoyed, including the bombers! Even leftovers were still so good!It gets packed here often but they have a steady flow of workers who really get on the ball with getting everything done to manage the drive thru and incoming hangry people.Was really appreciative/impressed that I got my 200 pieces of chicken within 20 minutes of waiting and I didn't even order ahead of time.

Staff works really hard to get orders out on time. Food is well prepared. I like their mac & cheese.
