Well.. the menu sais voted best burger in three counties.. I must have came on a bad night. I love to be positive so I will say the bartender was good and attentive, the beer selection was decent for bottles and cans, drafts not so much.The menu said all burgers are cooked medium.. I should have walked away but I have had good medium cooked burgers before. The one I had was very well done not at all near medium, was supposed to have Chipotle and onions in the burger, if they were there I didn't know, just tasted like plain old dry burger.. I didn't see cheese on the menu for my buger so my bad on that. Still I wasn't concerned, I tried anyway... not at all impressed with the burger plain and dry.. but!! the steak fries were great! I love fries as much as burgers! The best part of the meal! Won't say I wouldn't try here again, but now I know to ask for a medium on the rare side, cheese and if Chipotle or anything is supposed to be in the burger, then please to put some in it.. It's also loud not alway a bad thing I'm just half deaf so it was hard to hear the bartender..
Amazing food! The Imperial Fig Burger was 5/5 and delicious!Both the beer battered (skinny) fries and the sweet potato fries were 5/5 and delicious!The Old Fashioned Burger was great in a traditional "greasy burger" style.Good service and fun vibe.
Fred woods the manager needs to be retrained. My elderly mother recieved a soggy and sour tasting salad that she couldn't eat. She brought the issue up to the manager who she thought would make it right but instead he argued with her at the dinner table in front of our other family members and grandchildren. The lack of customer service at this restaurant is a disgrace. Visited Saturday at 6pm 4/16. Party of 6
Party of 6. One of the guests Burger came out dry. Ordered chicken strips instead. Manager said it would take 15 mins for them to come out. Didn’t believe it wouldn’t be a priority but indeed it was 15 later. First restaurant I’ve been to where a mess up wasn’t a priority. Terrible
Let me explain...On Saturday, 3/26/22 I hosted an event at this restaurant and the event was set up by a local company who made arrangements with the restaurant for a group of 10-12 people on the patio. The event required the use of approximately 6 tables and was booked and confirmed with the Restaurant Manager for up to 3 hours between 11:30am-2:30pm. The reservation was confirmed twice prior to the event date. The event was to include a crafting project and lunch at Burgers & Beer. So...everyone arrived around 11:30am and some of the attendees ordered and ate prior to the Crafting while some of us chose to wait until after the craft process. We had been there exactly one hour when the event hostess approached me and asked me to join her inside because the owner, A Mr. Marco Honold was very upset and there was apparently a problem with our "Reservation". When I approached Mr. Honold, his arms were crossed, his foot was tapping and he had a scowl on his face as if I had slapped him. I introduced myself and without so much as a "nice to meet you", he launched into a tirade about how could I expect to sit on his patio drinking iced tea and crafting for 3 1/2 hours? He was running a business and not a craft center! The man obviously did not take into account that some of us had already eaten while others had just ordered and others were waiting until after AND we likely would be there only 2 1/2 hours not 3 as our RESERVATION permitted. His tirade went on to include him asking us to finish up and leave immediately while I stood there amazed at this man's COMPLETE UNPROFESSIONALISM! We had only been there an hour! I requested an additional 45 minutes to give my attendees the opportunity to complete their projects and if they choose, order lunch. The owner agreed to this request with great disdain and repugnance in his reply. From the moment I walked up, Mr. Honold was combative and rude. As a member of the business community, I hold Business Owners to high standard of professionalism and service. This man's attitude towards our guests is unforgivable. As a member of a very large networking group here in the Coachella Valley and one who holds many events around the desert, I can honestly tell you, I will strongly discourage anyone from holding an event at this establishment let alone patronizing it at all. The owner is not interested in building community or supporting small business owners...he is simply rude. He embarrassed himself, his staff and my attendees. There is no excuse. He could have come at it from a kind heart but he chose not to. Too bad...Burgers & Beer is not a nice option.
Great place, fun atmosphere, tasty food, and good drinks. Tbh I think it's a little too crammed in there for the amount of ppl in the restaurant. Also on the pricey side. Large selection of tvs but views are weird at times. Overall good but could be better.
Hockey pucks and Beer! In a valley with plenty of burger selections Burgers and Beer stood out as the best! They outshined all their competitors to the point they branched out and set up other Burgers and Beer restaurants outside the Valley. However, it seems they have lost the ability to cook a Burger. Every time I go, I'm reminded of why I'm no longer a regular. Burgers are burnt, expensive mediocre dishes with service that is beyond horrible, Parking is a disaster and food takes forever to come out. I've placed orders over the phone only to deal with a server with a bad attitude telling me my burger will take 20 to 30 mins to be ready (this was on a Tuesday night). The pickles and the beer selection are outstanding however expensive but don't worry the attitude is free with every hockey puck.
Overall good experience. For 2 “foots” of the IPA and a jalapeño burger it was $36. I’d say for the quality and quantity you’re getting a very satisfactory amount for what you pay. Would definitely go back.
What an awesome place, clean and friendly! Our presentation with the food and drinks were perfect. The taste was as good as the presentation. Great Burger joint, we'll be back!
