It's a shame that I have to give this place 2 stars because their food is actually decent. The reason for 2 stars is because I hate to say it, but the waiter service is terribly slow and lazy. The restaurant was not busy at all. I would understand if the server was extremely busy, but she was not. If you're lazy, please do not be a waiter. You will not get a tip. It's as simple as that. Me and my spouse went here to eat dinner last night and the waitress we had was very slow. Our drinks were empty for a solid 10-15 minutes. The waiter is not aware of her surroundings of what her customers needs are. That's not okay. Not only that, but when it came time for the bill, it took the waitress a solid 15-20 minutes to charge us to even leave. You know it's bad when you have to have ANOTHER waiter to charge your card because your MAIN waiter ignored you. Also, It should take you 2 minutes TOPS to charge the customer. The waitress didn't even acknowledge us when we were blatantly staring at her in order to wave at her to get her attention. Management, if are reading this, you seriously need to look into your waiters because it's costing you customer retention.

Our first time here and I personally was VERY dissatisfied. My husband liked his spaghetti though. Didn't seem like authentic Italian. My shrimp scampi was so watery with no flavor that I literally just ate the shrimp (so hungry) a few noodles and veggies and left 3/4 of it there. Nothing special about the garlic bread though we were so excited to try it. I left there so hungry that I went down the street and filled up on Sultan Baklava choc raspberry cake and a mocha which was DELICIOUS!!! Oh and I forgot to mention that our server was very nice and actually took off half the cost of my meal. But still at half price it wasn't worth it.
I went on Sunday night 8 o' clock, place closes at 8:30, Celia the waitress with a rockabilly look attended me with a great smile, attitude, and doing the best customer service, I ordered fettuccine pasta with chicken, it was outstanding delicious flavors, totally recommend this place if you are in el cajon city area.
I was invited to come for dinner here, but not really expecting the food to be bad or good. I was blown away by how fresh and delicious the food is here. This is such a calm atmosphere with great customer service! You won't be disappointed.
Stop looking for Italian restaurants. I been living in SD for 20 years and this just became my favorite restaurant. The Lasagna, the Hawaiian pizza and the hot rigatoni fra diavolo ??? were all awesome. 5 stars, No questions about it!!!
It has a blessed feeling about it. The staff is lovely and brilliant for food recommendations. Get the wing and the lobster Mac. Trust me!
Everything was great. Fresh baked bread for appetizer at no extra charge. Even though the calzones are only on the lunch menu, the server let my wife order one for dinner. I ate the Cippione which was the best seafood I've had in a very long time. The clamps and mussel "meat" fell out of the shell, the sauce was perfection, and the portion was quite generous.Want to know a secret? All pizzas are half price on the 1st Thursday each month. Also, look for their 20% off coupons in the Get1Free mailer.
Second time here with the family.. and it did not disappoint.. We changed it up a little this time around and order something different of their menu and it was all delicious. The wings, The pasta, and especially their pizza The Double Delux... We asked the waitress for a popular dish and she recommended Rigatoni Fra Diavolo.. let me tell you.. it's delicious and now we now why it's everyone else's favorite... see you next.... ?
Very good independent restaurant with moderate prices. I’ve been there for lunch 3-4 times and plan on returning when I’m in the downtown El Cajon area where by the way there are lots of interesting restaurant choices to try.
