First time coming here! The employee was very nice and gave us options for different salsa. I ordered the taco street combo taco so, I can try different ones. Lengua, cabeza, and carne asada did not disappoint. Will definitely come back again!
Stoped by on a whim on my way back to phoenix from Tj, this place was a pleasant surprise. The blue corn tortillas are hand made. They were out of carnitas when I came by but if the pastor and asada were any indication on how they prepare their meats, I'm sure the carnitas were up to par. Horchata was kinda thick but they swapped it for a little glass coke without issue. 10/10 would Taco Azul again.
10/10For years, Rosarito's Mexican Food has been the only game in town.Then, Taco Azul moved in and blew Rosaritos out of the water... It's like comparing fast food to a steakhouse.Affordability, excellent customer service, delicious food, transparent food handling and clean.
Do yourself a favor and stop in at Taco Azul!! They made some of the BEST tacos I've ever had.We tried the tacos al pastor, cabeza, cochinita pibil, pollo asado, and carne asada, all on the blue corn tortillas (blue tacos). Every single one was delicious, well marinated and cooked perfectly. We had no complaints with any component of the meal, which also included rice, beans, and an horchata. The tortillas were a lovely texture and flavor, and one of our favorite parts of the meal.This place is spectacular and we will be back soon. Thank you
