Their Sushi is so good. Staff is very friendly and attentive. A must go to.
Last month I would have given them a 5 star rating but in one month they lost our business. First off I don't mind paying more for good service but when you screw ups simple order and charge $30dlr more for the same order you get every time and all your told is everything is going up. I understand inflation and are willing to pay more but when they screw up your order and still charge you $30 more they don't rate five star.
Today I ordered rolls. Well, they turned out to be very tasty! I really liked the rolls, but I noticed that the guy who made the rolls was not wearing gloves. Also, other chefs were without gloves and they did not have a mask on their nose, but this is not a problem. Please make sure your chefs use gloves to cook, this is very important for hygiene. I had to use cognac for disinfection. for this reason I put two stars
First and last time going there. I ordered food to go and everything had old taste. The fried calamari smelled old and tasted liked it was reward, the Roman had no flavor, nigiri ? smelled and looked like old fish. My dogs didn’t even want it. Needless to say, it all went in the trash.

To be fair, I'd actually go 2.5 stars but will round up because the rolls were great and they come out quick - that is when the waitress doesn't forget to bring them. My table and seats were very dirty and the waitress was very inattentive.
I must every visit to El Cajon city, I visit Tabu restaurant, which is best sushi restaurants in the area, add to this the perfect and professional service that you deserve.

The rolls were awesome, but the service wasn't so great. My friend and I seemed to annoy our waitress with not knowing what we wanted yet. It was our first time there and we weren't sure. Then we were forgotten about to order for a while. Then once we got our appetizers, our waitress comes back asking if we want dessert. We commented about eating our rolls first, that we were still waiting on, and she admitted to forgetting about them. She even added that it got busy and she wasn't paying attention. Why would you tell your customers that? It seemed unprofessional and she was kind of rude the whole time.
First, the customer service was outstanding! Everyone we encountered was friendly and very attentive. So good in fact, they could teach many other restaurants how to provide good customer service to patrons. The food came out quickly. They were generous with the salad and the dressing was tasty but it was just the basic premixed and bagged salad. The food was just okay but they treated us to a yummy dessert for my sons birthday. Because the service was good, I would return. They were very nice!
