I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and it definitely did not meet my expectations. We started off with the micheladas and they tasted like watered down beer. So I asked to switch the drinks for margaritas (regular margarita on the rocks and mango margarita on the rocks) both were also watered down and my mango margarita still had beer in it! The food was horrible, cold, not authentic food at all. Very disappointed and will not be coming back. The only good thing about my experience was my server (Marlene) She was very sweet and understanding.

Food is bland, they didn’t specify if it was sweet tea and unsweet tea, I even said sweet tea and the lady still got it wrong. They took my drink to get it right and it took them 15 minutes to not even sweeten it but put lemonade in it like it was gonna taste sweet, had to use all their sweet 'n low to make the tea actually taste good. Very disappointed. Located in Southern California and still mess up a Mexican dish as if we weren’t like 30 minutes from the border and make it taste authentic
We used to enjoy this restaurant frequently prior to the pandemic. Beautiful outdoor seating, suburb food and engaging service. As with so many other things there has been a definite change since the pandemic. If you enjoy plain diced tomatoes similar to canned as salsa - no salt, no ,jalapenos, onions, cilantro, or lemon or lime seasoning you will enjoy the salsa. If you enjoy stale (as if prepared early morning) chips cold and without seasoning - then enjoy, If you request hot sauce and are provided about 2 TBSPS, great. If you like your Carne Asada nachos with diced Carne Asada well done and bordering or being burned this dish is for you. If you like your refried beans thick and similar to canned beans with cheese thrown on top- not melted- go for it. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp in a light sauce and cooked to perfection. I found the cheese enchiladas less than edible with its dark brown sauce made of ????. The frozen strawberry margarita was a bit watery and the regular margarita made from Tequila from who knows where- enjoy. You can can have this less than memorable dinner for 2 for $120.00. Grant it it was 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon but very disappointed considering the past greatness of this restaurant that we so dearly enjoyed.
Not authentic Mexican food and the cocktails aren’t good. I was hoping for fresh tasting Mexican food but it was poor quality and did not taste great. The margarita is made with store bought sweet and sour instead of fresh limes.
This place is very outdated and a little dirty the food also did not have flavor my wife had camarones rancheros she had to dig through what look like a forest of vegetables to find the shrip that was over cooked and i order a shrimp plate in what was supposed to be in mole tasted like it was straight out of a can.and for the bathroom situation only 1 bathroom had to wait in line..not very good experience
Amazing experience; lush succulents, greenery, and art make for a very welcoming environment, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly (even on a busy Saturday). Our server Theresa had a large party and many tables to wait on, but even though she was totally slammed, she was attentive and super friendly. The food was phenomenal and absolutely worth the short wait since they were totally slammed. The portions are huge, the meat was well seasoned, and they use all the best cheeses... I'm only bummed I didn't have room for desert.... We'll def be back!
Horrible experience. The food has gotten so bad. They need to change the oil they useAbsolutely disgusting. The $16 margarita was so bad . Not worth ever going back there.Very disappointed.
awsome place good food and good service
First time here and I got the cheese enchilada and beef taco plate, it was delicious. And Michelle our waitress had great customer service! she was very attentive being that she was the only server available. I would definitely come again.
