Half hour before closing no problem. Was seated and waitress assigned. Very courteous with a sense of humor. Well attended too and delicious fare.We had the chicken picatta and chicken Parmesan. Plentiful and needed to-go boxes.Only one suggestion, they need a diner salad. All salad choices are diner serving size and priced. Just want a simple $5 or less side salad.Just returning back to the San Diego area, and haven't been here in years. Just as good as remembered. Planning on returning soon.
My wife and I made this our go to for date night... before covid hit and has been a while since we went out... sort of blown away I called and asked for reservations and informed not offered... when asking about expected wait times was told "well.. it is valentines day weekend on a Friday what do you expect?" in my opinion very sarcastically...My response unfortunately was I will find another place for my family to celebrate all of our events or just date nights.. never felt so dismissed just asking for reservation...Don't get me wrong.. food is ok same with drinks but that is based on pre covid experience... suck's customer lost over a reservations
The food isn’t just the best Italian food in San Diego, it’s the best in the state of California! Nothing beats the taste of the homemade meat sauce! The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is great.
The best chicken parmigiana I've had in California. It was so good I couldn't put my napkin in it to desecrate the sauce. I ate the whole thing as slowly as I could in under 5 minutes. I thought about moving next door the whole time I was devouring it. Wow!
Marechiaro's is my hometown favorite. Grew up eating their pizza. Pizza and a Drive Inn movie! They never let me down! Great staff provide a wonderful experience everytime!
everything, the food is fantastic and the service is top notch.
The pizza is very good there. We thought we would each have a beer while waiting for our pizza to be readied for take out.The pizza wasn't nearly as good after I had to fork out $15 more for two beers.
Been eating here for 60 years. Excellent food has never changed!!! Authentic Italian food #9 pizza is the bomb!!!
