Honestly I can't decide which was better. The service from the wonderful wait staff or the equally as phenomenal food. I went here for the first time and believe me when I say that I will make it a point to become a regular from this day forward. Thank you Mama Rosa for the delightful food and your remarkable staff.Very pleased,Brett Parisette
Aesthetically they somehow managed to stop at the teetering edge of pretentious hipster and make it look clean and inviting(honestly probably using the wrong term, point is it's really nice)Foods damn good. Had the lasagna and gotta say it's already my favorite. While there's only so many ways to make lasagna without going crazy into the culinary fusion styles, it goes the extra mile with a fatty richness I've yet to experience from other restaurants or homemade. Whether its richness be from the cheese or using high quality oils I don't know or care, it's great.Great wine selection my father says and the staff were very friendly and knowledgable.Easy choice to go there again.
I cant believe i have lived by this place almost 8 years and just tried it. The staff is super nice, its a quaint set up inside to sit about 20 people. The food was a great value and food portions. I purchased the family meal special for $32 which was pepperoni pizza 6 slices, half order of lasagna, half order of spaghetti and meat balls and half order of meat ravioli with garlic bread and antipasto salad for $32. The sauce cheese and meat was excellent
First time here. Saw lots of good reviews before I went, so I decided to try it out. The place is nice, a little small but quaint. Staff was very friendly and had good service. I only ordered homemade spaghetti to go, but I was disappointed. They drenched it in meat sauce. You can't taste the noodles or the meatball or anything. Would like to go back but a little skeptical. Hopefully second times a charm.
My husband and I were in the area and stopped in for dinner, and WOW!!! It was the best tasting Italian food we've ever had...and we've eaten at many fine Italian resturants. None of them even comes close to the flavor, service and price we experienced. It was a pleasant surprise. My husband had cannelloni and I had linguini with shrimp, and for starters we had bruschetta de pomodoro and house salads. Awesome!
Great customer service and very delicious food. Prices are convenient.
Momma Rosa's is hands down the best Italian food East County, it only took us 10yrs to find this hidden little gem but so glad we did. Everyone is nice, service is OUTSTANDING, and the food, gets better everytime we order. This is our go to for anything Italian and especially Pizza...
best Italian food in San Diego. Been going there for 20 years. Always tasty, always fresh, always reasonable prices and great cannoli's!
?Awesome experience with delicious Italian food. The service was top grade. The food was a slice of Italy every time I order a meal. The wine was tasty and the perfect touch to the dinner.
Dinner for two was a great option $34. Great variety, large portions, lots to take home. Salad garlic bread, spaghetti, large meatballs, Ravioli, Lasagna, 8” cheese & Canadian bacon pizza. This is the place to go to !!!
