A Major Disappointment ...For $42, I received a small amount of wilted Greek Salad, uncooked French-Fries and two very small pieces of chicken. For their expensive prices, I definitely expected more food and much better quality, too!I went to the Drive-thru and didn't find this unfortunate fact out until I was already home! The Drinks weren't even included and the wait time was much too long! So Buyer Beware! ?
Surprising place, it looks like a fast food restaurant but the food offerings are reasonably healthy and unlike any fast food restaurant. They have sit down, drive through as well as curbside pickup. Two things I would do differently the next time I go here. One, don't order the onion rings. I found them to have very heavy breading such that the poor onion within was dwarfed and all you can taste is the breading, which I think should be lighter in texture and unlike a thick shell. Two, ask for the dressing in your salad to be in the side as my salad items were swimming in a pool of dressing near the end of the meal.Despite these minor issues, I'd probably go there again. I wish there were more of them than just the 3 restaurants in El Cajon, Santee and Lakeside in all of San Diego County.
I’m part of the PTA at an elementary school & we ordered a large amount of food for Teacher Appreciation. Not only were we shorted a salad (we ordered 4 large, got 3. Some staff had to either go hungry or eat during class time…which is no easy feat), but there was PLASTIC in one of the others (which the manager refused to replace). I see there are many positive reviews and I LOVE the other locations, but be wary of the one in El Cajon. Check to make sure you received your entire order before you leave. And check your food too…to make sure there’s nothing inedible in there. They won’t make it right.
I ordered a large salad. When I got home I discovered that they had given me a salad with chicken. I never buy salad with chicken, my daughters don't like meat and that one comes dry. I phoned because I found out I was also charged for a chicken salad and they charge almost $6 more for something I didn't order. They told me I had to return the salad for a change and get my money back. Disgusting I had already opened the salad, what were they going to do with that salad, give it to someone else.I'm not going back to that place.
Been going there since they began. A lot of years. Best Chicken and salads in town.
I was so disappointed today with the my dinner .. not only did they give the wrong food, the salad old and had a hair in it. When I called to complain the manager Sol was so rude ..
We went to try for the first time Greek Chicken in El Cajon. We ordered two Gyro combinations. You got the gyro meat they give you a nice portion and pitas plus great French fries and a nice size salad. I could not finish mine so I had leftovers to take home. We thought it was so good and we saw other dishes too we want to try. We will be back. And they have a good menu of food to choose from. My husband had a soda and I had ice tea also. Service was quick and friendly.
This place is great! The people that work there are nice and the food is great. The gyro has a great portion of meat. Employees were all wearing masks and they were deep cleaning the restaurant moving machines and cleaning behind them during our visit (makes me think they take cleaning seriously!). I definitely recommend this place.
First time the flavor of the chicken was great, I had two thighs and 2 legs because the pieces are too small, I also had the potato salad it was okay but it was plain it'd be nice to maybe add celery pickles mustard along with chives that I think they had that in there and the gyros meat that I had would be nicer if the meat was cut thicker I ate every bit of it that's why I gave you a three just so you guys could hear my ranting and raving here on how you should fix up your menu thank you
Craveable food with great customer service and good portions. Your receipt also gets you 15% off your next order without even taking a survey.
