Best breakfast/brunch in east county, good food, fresh ingredients. Awesome coffee selection for the coffee lover in all of us.

Second review of the Bistro, still amazing! Give this place a try! Light years better than any IHOP or Denny's. Unique choices, complex flavors. A MUST.

EBC is really consistent. First friendly service, great food, better portions, and they have a new outside dining area which is really lovely. They have a quick turnaround time for orders, coffee is acceptable. We go here as a family once our twice a year and every time it doesn't disappoint in food quality. They staff are really friendly in the front and they juts have this inviting atmosphere.

Just noticed I've never left a review. This place is awesome. I used to eat here all of the time when I lived here. Now it's one of the few places I make sure to have time for when I come back and visit California. Healthy Breakfast Burrito for the win. Bring your kids they will love the options. Plates are a work of art.

Always so wonderful coming here. Food is 100% worth the price! Wish they were open a little later but that's okay that they aren't. Will always recommend to go here for any reason! The staff is so friendly and kind as well!

I have been going to El Cajon Bistro for many years but thought we would give BistroDelCajon a try this morning. I ordered the 1, 2, 3 breakfast as I had in the past, with a biscuit and gravy instead of pancake, also as I had before. I was not impressed! First off, I was charged $2 for the Gravy and $2 more for the biscuit (Even though I did not get the pancake). SECONDLY, the gravy and eggs were just lukewarm. Thirdly, everything was just slopped together on the plate making the bacon gooey and the eggs mix with the gravy. Finally, the food took a very long time to get delivered (the reason I didn't say anything about the food temperature and presentation...I had to get to work so there was no time for a re do. ) Assuming you are trying to keep current clientele, I thought I would share this experience. Thank you. Kathy

So far, everything I've eaten here is delicious. I've run in mostly for breakfast. Benedicts. Chilaquiles. Omelettes. The breakfast is very tasty, with some unique mexi-american options. If I could complain about one thing, it's that I need to work out more because of how much I eat here.

This place was so good. The service was great, food amazing and prices reasonable. I’m not from the area but next time I’m in town I’ll be going back. Do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

This place never meets my expectations. I first started coming here about five years ago. They’ve had an upgrade, but to me they still have an unprofessional, hinky feel. I’ve seen dirty silverware, broken high chairs, and emergency exits blocked. I am always a little confused about whether I should seat myself or stand in line to order. I still don’t know. The food comes in generous portions, but doesn’t exactly taste good. It’s too expensive. I do, however, like their smoothies. ?

Awesome place to have breakfast, great food and great service. Will definitely be back!
