This is my first time there. I gave it 2 stars because the food was good and it was open late. But just getting off work looking for a quick bite because we were hungry. I ordered 2 number 3's and 2 drinks for me and my boyfriend. They told me it would be a 25 to 30 minute wait. So I waited. I should have looked at my receipt because when they finally called for my order there was only 1 Styrofoam. I told her I ordered 2. She looked at my receipt and said you were only charged for one. Well there was no way I was going to wait for another one and besides they were closing. So we split the food when we got home. I got Hot chicken. I could have went up one level of spice because it was not that spicy. I'm very upset because of my order being wrong and more mad at myself because I had all that time and I didn't catch it in time. The food was good. But my first time turned out to be a very frustrating experience. So frustrating I wanted to take my tip back.
A solid spot for hot chicken. It’s good but it’s not the best or second best I’ve ever had. The chicken itself is pretty good, as are the kale slaw and mac n’ cheese. However, the pickles, bread, and fries leave something to be desired.Weekend evenings get really busy at this location, so I’d suggest coming at an off time — you’ll get your food hot that way.
First time here. First thing first, the military discount is the best discount I ever had, 50% off. You can't be that. Anyway, I got half and half with fries, which is 1 tender and 1 slider. My slider had the pickles and kale slaw in it, which is perfect! The Dave's sauce is on point! Fries are seasoned! I'm only here temporarily bc of school and training for the Navy and I recommend this place(El Cajon)! I will be back before I leave. The level I had is medium, which is the ENJOYABLE spicy, for me!
Every time I have gone to this place it’s amazing. I just ordered delivery and it’s the first time I ever order delivery that when I got it it was still fresh and hot this place is the best chicken ever!
Amazing! Pictured is the 2 sliders combo meal. I got the Hot level of spice. Really good amount of spice if you like spicy food. If not, maybe go medium. My friend does not like spice at all and got the Light Mild and it was perfect for him. A lot of food for a meal so come hungry. Sauce is delicious, dump that shiz all over your sammy! Fries and nicely seasoned and fried. Overall 5 stars highly recommend!
Daves Hot chicken never disappoint. Coming from Arizona and it way better than canes chicken. Really well organized and clean inside ??
First time trying and super good. I was able to cut one meal I. Half and share with my kids. The portions are pretty good/big in my opinion. Delicious flavor, portions, and good service overall.
Wow really surprised by how tasty, juicy, and big the chicken tenders are here. I've been here 3 times and each time the food comes hot and tasty. I see them make the food fresh on order. The sliders are really good and the buns are sweet and soft.
Halal and delicious! I don't know if all of their locations are halal but El Cajon and Pacific Beach are.
I love hot chicken so this was a must try for me when this location opened recently. I ordered through DoorDash and I was surprised how fast my order arrived. Everything was hot and delicious. I had the hot sliders and I loved the sauce and the extra pickles. I also got the tenders in medium for my husband. Maybe next time I'll try the extra hot level.?
