Food and service is excellent as always. I enjoy their skillets with coffee, and its always consistent. Shout out again to Mr Carlos, the Superman who never fails to amaze with his energy and prompt service. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.
I went to the Broken Yolk Cafe in Racho San Diego with my daughter for brunch last week and I have to say: I prefer the Broken Yolk Cafe in Plaza Bonita much more. I felt there wasn't enough parking for the business in that mall. We had to wait for a table for over 15 minutes when I clearly saw empty tables in the patio area.We were eventually seated in the patio area and that was nice. Our server Was very good at her job and the food as always was spot on.
Didn't eat there, my friends picked, they late, I asked if they had Rez for them, no, had them set up, wouldn't let me sit after I ordered it until 1/2 the party came. Agitated me also they had a table already set up for 10! But set 4 tiny tables in a long string, how are people supposed to get in? Slide down 4 feet? We left, not our place,let the others in the area wrestle with this place. Pretty inside but they had an attitude.
Nikki G was in such a great mood she made us feel welcome always had smiles on her face I absolutely loved her! Just a great experience felt so comfy in there eating our food i can hear from other tables how great she was! Shes a great of Broken Yolk we need more Nikki Gs! - Leslie
Amazing food with very healthy serving sizes!! One of my favorite parts about this restaurant was that you can put your name in to check in while at home and leisurely make your way there. We got there 10 min before our scheduled time and they texted us to say our table was ready. I had the American breakfast and my wife had the California omelette and we both left there completely satisfied. We also shared a cinna cake pancake and that was so delicious with it without syrup. They have a cool rewards program where you can get $10 Olof your next meal pretty easily. I highly recommend this place with great food and great service!

Food is delicious, pricey, long wait times. Staff interaction was amazing, the Manager came over to ensure our table satisfaction.Mimosas could use some work.
I come here for brunch every weekend. My favorite spot. the best staff. Plates are hot and delicious. they cater to my mom and dog. will always be back.
The food is great, no question. But the portions are not particularly generous, and the pricing is a bit high for what is served. The coffee cups are the smallest I've seen in decades, which makes the servers work extra hard to keep them filled.
Excellent breakfast! I split the eggs Benedict and the biscuits and gravy with my boyfriend. Food was great and the pomegranate mimosa was a win!!
