Great sushi varieties and so delicious and worth every penny!
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE - GOT SCAMMED: Ordered takeout from here and did not leave tip (I only leave tips for table service/delivery you can disagree with me on this). When looking at my credit card bill I see they added on a 25% themselves. I understand times are tough during COVID but that is no reason to SCAM YOUR CUSTOMERS!
An awful experience! The moment we saw a chef touched his mask so many times without washing his hands and continued make our sushi. We felt gross and lost our appetite! The other cook was maskless! I hope the employees at this restaurant can have a COVID-19 prevention awareness or personal hygiene knowledge when service customers. By the way, the server was friendly and nice, properly wore the mask.
A wonderful little place. Food is great, and I really love the aesthetics of the restaurant. Full of beautiful paintings.
My first order pretty good, so I ordered again. Unfortunately today's order had some fish that wasn't fresh in the spicy tuna roll. I had one before realizing it, so I didn't have the rest, but I'm already feeling nauseous from the one. There was also too much mayo in the crab/mayo mix. The miso soup was not the best, I can't put my finger on it but maybe it had a little bit of chicken flavor? Little to no salt on the edamame. I can't say I'll be back.
The baled salmon roll was very good, as well as a few others !

Excellent sushi
What a treat! Stumbled on this place on our way back home from Fremont and a 25 mile bike ride. Exactly what we’d been craving! Fresh ingredients, tasty specialty rolls, and delightful cucumber served elegantly in a martini glass. It was a crispy evening and only patio dining was available but service was great and food was marvelous. Looking forward to our next ride in Fremont and sushi from Kanpai!
