Everything was wonderful and soo good !
Food was not worth the $ too expensive for just alright food. The building smells bad.
More time should be cleaning the wine glasses. Sent ours back twice. ! Finally got a sparkling glass!
Our family has been enjoying celebratory dinners at Hana Japan in Dublin for decades. Our dining experience in July 2022 was disappointing. Our server was pleasant and fairly attentive. Our chef was quiet and did not interact with our group of four nor the other group of three at our table. He started off well with spinning the spatula, but the only other "event" was the onion volcano, which you would have missed if you weren't watching closely. There was no shrimp tossing, no heartbeating rice, and no flipping of the rice bowls. Three of us ordered steaks, two New York and one Ribeye, and they were poorly prepared. Previous chefs have meticulously removed and discarded pieces of fat from steaks, but this chef made no such effort. Supplied with only forks, the steak eaters were left to remove the chunks of fat from their mouths after chewing. Another new feature is the addition of an 18% gratuity on all or most bills. We typically tip our chef after he completes his presentation, but a chef's tip was not warranted on this occasion. Even with one free birthday meal, the bill for our party of four, which included a total of three alcoholic beverages, was $195. Our traditional meals at Hana Japan in Dublin are likely over.
Would prefer the vegetables and rice before the meat
Our chef Carlos was entertaining and energetic but our chicken dishes were overcooked and dry. He may have gotten distracted by some missing shrimp. Staff were attentive.
Went here with couole of friends to celebrate my birthday! It was fun! Food Was Great!
Out of all the times we have been here this one was the worst. Salmon was overcooked and dry, terriaki steak was over cooked to well done (never asked how we wanted it cooked), dry and too chewy most likely since the pieces were cut more for a salad than a dinner (thin and small), the calamari appetizer was overcooked and rubbery. However, the chicken and shrimp were very good. For the price you pay plus the automatic 18% gratuity, it most definately not worth the price!
Delicious food, very consistent with each visit. Best steaks ever. Order the scallops there are not on the menu. They used to include cooked shrimp with each meal and cooked mung beans too. They have dropped that practice. Free Bday discount within 7 days of Bday with party of 4. $30 off.
Food was amazing the show was amazing. The area is small so it was quite smokey and stuffy. I wish they had more airflow and a little more space. The place can definitely get some upgrades but overall the food and show were great.
