Had our first experience at Cousin’s Maine Lobster(Food Truck) in Pine Grove, Ca and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the Lobster Tacos, Lobster Grilled Cheese and the Connecticut style lobster roll (sandwich) Everything was delicious! Such a treat. We can’t wait for a the next visit! We will plan on being there. It’s pricey but worth it for an occasional meal of fresh Maine Lobster

This food truck did a surprise pop up at our apartments in walnut creek. I got the lobster tots, I must say they were pretty good. I’ve never thought lobster and tater tots would match up! I honestly wanted to try multiple things but they are a bit pricey.Pros:Unique menuPlenty of optionsFriendly serviceGood proportion (for the tots at least)Fresh LobsterFast & Friendly serviceKids menuClean modern truckCons:PriceyMobile so you have to catch themBesides the shrimp tacos pretty much everything is lobster so no good if you don’t like lobster

Cousins Maine Lobster East Bay has an app now that is decent to use (app is called by the same company name).I picked up my food at 12:03pm it was not ready, had to wait another 5 mins. The lobster roll sandwhich was cold but good and served with a slice of lemon. The grill cheese with tots was nothing special but still good. Was it worth it with tax and tip? $30Yes, but only once in three monthsBuy lobster tail at cost for about the same price

Went to the food truck that showed up in Berkeley downtown today. We got one Maine roll and one Connecticut roll. Both of them tasted amazing! The bread tasted buttery, and the lobsters were fresh and delicious!

After numerous promises on Facebook to follow up, I'll post my honest frustrated review. Last Thursday I placed an online order to be picked up at 1150. I work at a very nearby school, and only have 30 minutes for a lunch break, so I tried to plan it wisely. I showed up at 1145 and waited outside of the pickup window as a large party before me got their order. Totally understandable. But then, people would walk up, place their order, and walk away with it, and I hadn't even been acknowledged. Finally I flagged someone down in the window and she assured me they were making my order. 5 minutes later, she apologized they were still waiting on the tater tots. Finally, 17 minutes *after* the "pick up" time, I got my order, which meant myself and another teacher had cold tater tots and soggy lobster roll buns after school was let out, because that's when we got to eat our $50 "lunch". Very upsetting, but the fact that customer service is this lacking makes things even worse. We've been regular customers and suggested them to many people in the past, but not again.

Went to the truck in San Carlos today, as they heavily advertised on Facebook. Read some comments beforehand about the issue of the size/quantity. So be prepared.Went there early so there was no line of waiting. Ordered the Maine roll (cold) for my hubby, the lobster tacos for myself, and a cup of lobster bisque. Overall quality is great. Everything is fresh. The roll can use a little more sauce since it's a cold sandwich (so can't soak up any butter). The sauce on the tacos has just the right amount of spiciness (like sriracha mayo). The bisque is tasty, not too thick or too salty so you can really taste the flavor of the lobster.Comparatively speaking, the roll would give you more lobster meat, but the tacos may fill you up more. For a big guy, one order of sandwich itself is not going to be enough; would need to more it as combo with a side, like the tots or chips.Great experience and good food. Ladies working on the truck are nice and courteous. But the value can be improved for more returned customers, even though we live in the expensive state of California ??

This is the second time I've tried this truck, and it's really just average. Nothing special about the food, in fact the lobster comes out worse for wear due to it being from a truck instead of a kitchen. Even the tater tots are average.I gave it a shot, but don't feel the need to try it ever again.

Lots of lobster. I would like to see some options of sauce like Siracha mayo or something but that’s just me. Solid lobster roll none the less and the tots were cooked perfect.???

Went and had some great lobster tacos yesterday. The people that work this truck are just awesome. The lady explained everything I need to make the right choice for me. She was so kind and caring. Then the cashier was also so kind. Service and food well worth it .

Heard amazing things about Cousins Maine Lobster Truck and signed up to see where they would be. Found them in Dublin today and a group of us went did not disappoint! Got the Connecticut lobster roll and the lobster tots to share both of which were phenomenal. Friends tried lobster rolls and the chowder nobody had anything for positive comments. If you're fortunate enough to find the truck definitely give him a try. It was too cold for us to try and eat outside so we ate in the car but it was still totally worth it
