If you are looking for great taste then this is a wonderful choice!. Not much of an ambience, it’s mostly suited for take out or a quick lunch. We had Apollo fish for appetizer, chapati and butter chicken curry, Hyderabadi dum biryani - biryani was one of the best I had in a while!!!Highly recommend this place for great food ?
The food isn’t quality enough for the pay. Meat isn’t fresh, Biryani rice isn’t cooked well., only the chicken tikka masala and naans are okay to eat. You guys can do better for these prices!
Hygiene issues observed. Today we got chicken curry and found a cockroach inside the curry. We shared this issue with the restaurant and just received simple sorry response. They said today we had the pest control. Seriously???
Their "Special" biryani is essentially curry on rice. Every grain of rice was white. Barely any flavor. Disappointed that they came themselves Biryaniz but they don't make one.
By far the best Biryani place in East Bay.Being a vegetarian, I've explored limited dishes. But Vijayawada biryani never disappoints.Keep it up guys!
authentic masala (spices). best in the east bay in its genre. thier spicy biryanis, thier dry meat items and tandoori. gulab jamun is best iv had in america. i never give review to any place but after coming here for so many yrs now i feel i must.
Biryani is my favorite dish. I would choose it on my death bed as a final meal. ? This place did not disappoint. Food was first rate. I had the chicken hydrabadi dum biryani. Perfect flavor and they didn't hold back on spice. My kids had chicken biryani prepared mild. If you like mild, the flavor was still en pointe. They ate every last bite. My husband had butter chicken, and he felt it was too mild and lacking something. I told him that's what he gets for not ordering biryani. ? He loved the rice that came with it, however. The chai was superb and a pleasant finish to a perfect meal.We saw several large catering orders (which presumably were for weddings). Clearly that speaks for itself that the biryani is second to none.As others have stated the food is made fresh so expect to be patient. You will not be disappointed.
I tried this place once and it was decent however I asked for my food to be spicy and it wasn’t. Gave it another try and i ended up waiting 35 minutes and made a point to say extra spicy and again it wasn’t spicy. The lack of urgency with the service was the most upsetting part. Food is decent though.
ordered garlic naan , butter naan, dal, Hyderabad chicken biryani, naans were burnt, dal was bland no taste at all, and the biryani is worse no taste I felt like eating rice with boiled chicken and chilly powder,I’ll never visit this place ?
I had been there before the pandemic, and I liked how they had disposable plates and cups and bottles water. Food took really long and taste did not meet expectations
