The food was delicious. Authentic Mexican food. Handmade tortillas, well portioned tacos. Definitely going back. Didn't give them the five stars because sitting and parking is very limited.
Tacos are great here, the al pastor is my go to.
So I was looking for a alternate taco spot becuz waiting at king taco down the road is ridiculous. Much to my suprise,I found a very small place with great tasting tacos.The asada was bomb,the al pastor even better becuz they put pieces of pineapple on the al pastor.Then theres the guacamole sauce.oooh yeh goood.Dont forget the red salsa....FIRE , cucumbers n carrots.All the fixings for a perfect taco plate.
Putting out some really good food to order. A definite return or go out of the way place. Tried a few items cause to get a diverse sampling. Pastor and carne asada were my favorites. Did not see for sure, but feel like the tortillas are made on the spot. Horchata is also good and not overly sweet. Prices are fair and turn around time is quick from order to pick up. There is some parking on side streets. Outdoor seating is available. It’s worth the trip to enjoy this food.
Hello everyone.If you are looking for a new taco spot, then look no more. Tacos Don Goya has the tastiest tacos in Downey. I recommend the pastor tacos. The meats are out of this world delicious. The mulita is a must try. The tacos here are made with a home made style Tortilla (very nice and tasty ?). Parking and seating is limited here, so get here early. If you love spicy salsa, guacamole and fresh tortillas, you have to try this place. Vast majority of places serve weak, limper than your grandads... no spice salsa. This place brings it. Try their red chicharron tacos (very spicy).

Definitely a must try...
This place used to be my go-to taco place but this last time I went, I was so disappointed!! The "homemade" tortillas were so cold and hard. Like they made em way ahead of time and just warmed em up. The meat was not hot at all, like it was reheated. The only thing satisfying from that meal was my jamaica drink. Definitely will not be coming back.
My wife and I enjoy the tacos and burrito at Tacos Don Goyo. Food is full-on flavor in each bite and also they made everything fresh daily. They also have a delicious cheese quesadilla and Horchata.
