Hash browns were crispy and good. Biscuits and gravy were lackluster. And for the price you think they could give a real hand made sausage patty. The one they serve is a mass produced rubbery floppy disk. Like breakfast equivalent of bologna.
We had a nice breakfast, it was delicious. Waiter was very attentive even though he was busy. Definitely will come back when we are in the area.
Yummy! We're here celebrating Mexican Mother's Day. My mom loved the food. Great taste and made fresh to order. If you're in the neighborhood do stop by and ask for to be seated in Armando's area. His service is phenomenal, he's very humble and attentive to your needs.
$4.50 for Ice Tea? Yikes. Lunch ended up being $37.00 for one... While it was good, it's a coffee shop. I paid $17.00 for a pork chop, ok, fine. Asked for salad, $1.95, fine. Got 1/4 of soup, thought it was included, oops, not. Ended up paying for soup, really???? Won't be back. Way too much $$$$
Our first time here and we had a great time. My wife really enjoyed here Mother’s Day breakfast. The food was really good and Lupe and Pilio I believe was his name I hope I’m not getting his name wrong. They were really nice and attentive. Pilio has a great attitude and is really attentive with your drinks. Hi’s a really nice guys and really contributes to a great first experience in this place. ???
Food is good. Service is good. If you pay with a credit card, you are charged 3.75% as an “adjustment amount” and they don’t tell you about it. You would think the cost of using a credit card would’ve incorporated into the menu price.
Great landmark! Great staff thats worked there for years and years! Food is great! Facility could use a facelift but current state adds to nostalgia feeling if you can appreciate that.
2 stars because a woman working at Stox would eat from garnish tray by the register with her fingers. Then wiped fingers on a cloth used to clean tables and front area. Staff often removed masks when behind the counter and put on mask to greet, serve. Cook sometimes removed mask while cooking.Throwback atmosphere, surprisingly expensive, friendly service, good food that's fresh, clean, diner/bar combo that also sells lottery. Pies are made there.
Old school style diner type restaurant. Great staff. AttentiveFood was delicious
I understand the climate and the effect of the pandemic but come on. The food I received was cold, the prices were too expensive for what I received which was a breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and orange juice. Also, a cup of Oj was $8, mind you the cup size was quite small and I had to ask for refills, which cost extra.I think this place has potential in doing better however,it can update its aesthetics with the time a bit.I do want to appreciate the service though, thank you for good service.
