2 times we had to clarify our order. 3 times we had to correct our order. The cashier says people make mistakes which is true but to make excuses for the team is not the way to run a business.The tables were dirty. The burger was not what we ordered. The bun was squished into 2. I should've taken a photo. Then the cheese was old, hard in areas and wasn't melted. I did take a picture of that and when we let the staff know the cashier said they'll look at the cheese. This location used to be run well, now it's lack of customer service skills is just disappointing.
I was born and raised in California lived in Monrovia CA, and I have been going to Pepe's in Arcadia Ca, all my young life! It was super fantastic then and since I've been away in Tennessee and and have come back to California I just happened to pop in Pepe's for old time sake and it hasn't changed a bit! Still super delicious ? prices are great $$ and friendly service fast service and the authenticity is still amazing ?? ?? ? ?? ?
Pepes has been my family and friends favorite mex fast food for 40 yrs.I grew up near the alhambra pepes.So good for so many years.Best guacamole and green chili on top of the rice.Our faves are the hard shell tacos.the chili relleno is bomb,taquitos and enchiladas.My first fave is the #14 carne asada plate w/ pico de gallo and flour tortillas.Thsnk You to the Pepes Family and keep it cookin!!!
Chorizo Breakfast burrito was huge but not flavorful like you would expect. Potatoes were super bland.
Long wait! Overpriced. Food is disgusting. Ordered the enchilada plate, and couldn't take more than 1 bite. The enchilada sauce is disgusting! Agua de Jamaica is really bad, as well!
This place is a local stop. Food is definitely worth the price as they give you a good amount. Love their taquitos and hard-shell tacos. And the bean burrito! So good!! ??
Today is going to be my last day eating at Pepe's not because they raise the prices three times in one year. That's not it at all they we're well worth it before they got this new cook their prices increased yet the burritos got smaller before these to be the biggest and best burritos in town I would really sing in Southern California but now that they got when you cook forget it I rather go to any other burrito place now oh, it was nice while it lasted
Always amazing! The hubby and I absolutely love their nachos. Large enough for us to share; shredded beef is our meat of choice, it's always tender and juicy. Let's not forget about that pork sauce! Green salsa on the side, just enough heat (cuz we're whimpy like that) and great flavor. Pepe's has never let us down. Loyal customers for 3 years now.
