I was so disappointed with my experience at this location. Norms was my go-to place for years. It was always so reliable. I traveled a good distance to visit some friends and this is where they wanted to go to eat. I thought it would be nice to visit once again. We all sat down, looked at the menus, and we were quick to choose what we wanted. Our server was very nice and she promptly took our order. We were enjoying our conversation when our food was ready, and we were just as ready to eat. My plate "looked" good but once I started cutting my country fried steak I thought I was having to cut through beef jerky. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it because everyone was enjoying their meal. I ate what I could but obviously didn't finish my meal. When we were all done, my friend did notice how much I left on my plate. What I didn't know is that she told our server after I got up to go pay the bill. The server came and did look concerned as I was paying the manager and all he had to say was, "well, just remind me the next time you come in." My comment to him was, "well, we know how that goes." I don't think I'm going to drive over 50 miles, one way, just for this. I hope my friends enjoyed their meals. I forgot to ask them.
Been awhile since I've been here. Our Server today was Austinn J. I recognized him and know. He's a veteran in that restaurant. I feel Very privileged.I had the grilled salmon fillet. (Tasty)What I like about this NORMS. It definitely has a family restaurant feel. The crew is very upbeat and positive most of my visits.Would I go back?Although I'm not a frequent flyer. Most definitely would go back and recommend.
Normally this is our go to Norms. Usually we have great service and our food is at the table in less than 15 minutes even on busy days.Today, was not one of those days. My soda was flat and hardly any syrup and the waitress never checked on us. We waited almost an hour for our food and it never came. The tables next and around us were served faster than us even though they came way later than us.We finally left once our kids couldn’t be patient anymore. We settled for McDonald’s down the street.
The food was great. Good service.
It was a decent experience. The food and service was not bad this time around. Although there was nobody to greet me at the entrance and to inform me I needed to sign in as I stood and waited at the counter for quite awhile, everything else was ok.
Very bad service went in at 10 pm and was rudely told they were closed when the sign on the door says they close at 11pm. So we came to Denny’s down the street.
Wow!! Today was my 2nd visit to this place but the server we had was very bad the 2nd time. We order breakfast and he brought our pancakes and toast when we were done with the eggs. He appeared confused and lost. Older Hispanic man, who appeared to have a problem remembering things. I could hear other customers complaining about the the horrible service he was giving. He would try to give you a free soda or coffee to go in order to make it up. I was not happy but felt bad for him.
Everything seems to have gone down so much. They have some decent breakfast deals but i cant say i would return unless i was forced to. Our waitress was an older woman who was shaky, inattentive, slow, did not come check for any refills and forgot the only salad and soup we had. She may have aimed for good service but it definitely was NOT. We walked past her on our way out and all she did was stare; no thank you, no have a good night...NOTHING!! I would not recommend this place at all.
Very fast seating. Servers were great very professional however I encountered a long hair on my steak. They tried to remake but wasn't cooked as i had asked for the first time they remade it again after I had said I was ok and wasn't interested in that breakfast anymore so it was a terrible waste of food right there.. Just wished it be more clean on the kitchen area. The servers were well mannered and provided excellent service. But that Hair tho... Kitchen needs to be spoken to...
