I bought to orders of Macho Nachos today February 12,2022. The tortilla chips were somewhat burn nachos didn’t have beans. The employee that takes the drive through orders needs either a hearing aid or get more training cause she only charge for one order, when I specifically told her nice and clear that I wanted two macho nacho orders and 2 drinks. This is my last time buying food at El Taco customer service sucks big time.
Quesadillas, red or green are amazing. Don't forget to let them sit and cool down a bit. Much easier to eat! And, we can't say enough about the chicken flautas. If we have time, we stop every time we are back in town. Worth making a special trip!
The foods great, been going there for awhile now. But I do have a problem with the new cashier. Nothing personal, but I just ate dinner there and he now has finger nails. There not just normal acrylics, they’re very long. His hygiene has never been the best since he started working there. His hair is in need of a good wash always. But now he has fingernails. I as a woman with finger nails know just how dirty they can get. If he don’t wash his hair, that’s a true sign of I know he don’t keep his nails clean. And that’s a problem!!!!
Worst Service ever!!!! Went on a Saturday night at 10pm when online and signs said they close at 11pm. They employees ignored us in the drive thru. Thought just the drive they was closed so went to order at the walk up. The employees ignored me and and angrily said they decided to close early. 2 cars came behind us too.
You know that one spot that other people would drive by but there’s also a line?That’s this place. But everything is good.So keep driving by.

The food does not taste well. If you like Taco Bell or Del Taco, the food here tastes nothing near it. It is totally different. No, I won't say delicious either.
If you're ever in Downey you must go to El Taco on Florence and Paramount
Their food is bomb! I love everything that I’ve tried. My favorite(s) is the carnitas dinner plate super burrito, chicken taco salad, chicken taquitos and the soft shell tacos!!!
This place has the best taquitos and quesadillas. Give em a try you won't be disappointed !!!
