Beautiful location! The place was decorated wonderfully, and the music was pleasant. I say at a high table and awaited service. The waitress was not very friendly and looked annoyed when talking my drink order. When another server brought me my drink, she had a better disposition and I asked about her menu recommendations. Then the same waitress came back and barely asked if I was ready to order. I asked her a couple of questions regarding the menu, and she couldn't answer them and asked if I knew what I wanted. I picked something - empapelado - and waited. When the food came out it was delicious! I got asked if I needed anything and then I was left alone to eat. My waitress checked in about 15min later and asked if everything was okay and before I could answer, she was already turning to walk away. I finished my food, payed, and walked out with a mixed reaction. The food and atmosphere was good, but the service I got did not leave a good taste in my mouth. I don't think I'll be returning. The rating I have given is based on the food.
Stopped here after a 12 hour flight. This place was pretty outstanding. My husband ordered the fajitas and my son had the campechana cocktail. They wolfed their food down. I had pollo relleno which was delicious. I was too quick to eat it since I did not even take a picture. All the food was excellent, as was the service
Been here several times and last time we were here we had a below average experience with the food and staff . We decided to give it another try for Mother’s Day . The hostesses were not helpful however we chose to just sit at the bar and order drinks and food. The bartender was awesome as he was very attentive and informative. He stayed very pleasant no matter how busy he got.

What a WONDERFUL experience!!Celebrating Semana Santa on this Jueves Santo ? with our grand kids at El Pescador Restaurant located in Beautiful Downey Landing plaza corner of Lakewood and Stewart & Gray. Walking distance from our daughter's place.We were seated at the bar which was safe enough at that particular time. Two of our kids had pizza and fries while the eldest had shrimp n chips. Wife had the cheese enchilada en salsa roja deliciosa. I had the enchiladas El Pescador stuffed with shrimp and fish super delicious!!!Our server very nice and professional. Kids enjoyed the experience as well as the WONDERFUL MUSIC. Kept feeling Ensenada vibes from when my wife and I were younger. Showed our kids the music we used to dance to , very catchy. The colorful Ceiling looked like a dance floor in reverse. Thank you El Pescador Restaurant for a memorable experience on this Jueves Santo. Can't wait to show you off with the rest of the family. Had the mokajete de mares (32$) before tax and it was not what I expected. As you can see in the photo it looks like there is a lot but truthfully that’s just decoration you have a couple shrimps, some crab legs and some chopped pieces of octopus which all tasted very good but to be honest once that first layer is gone you are met with nothing but a caldo de ? tomates. (Tomato soup) if you come here to drink that awesome because then you won’t have to worry about the food. My old fashioned was the highlight of my experience. (10$)
Place is fine going in groups on Saturdays... Do not recommend as going as a couple. Went there with my wife to celebrate wedding anniversary but place was too load to pass the evening without our kids. But service was very good & orders were made within 15 minutes. Hope this helps for couples looking to try it out for a Saturday evening. ????
One star is too much. But you cannot leave a rating without at least leaving 1 star. Very rude, no customer service a lot of attitude. You ask about something or request a change on your dish more attitude. Where I'm like just leave it. Because I pay for service and can make changes. I'm paying for it. It's not be given to me. So I won't be coming back. No name on tag but has red glasses.
Our Bartender was hilarious. She informed us that she spent quarantine making drinks and it showed! The drinks she made for me were amazing.
We went for my husbands birthday they sat us down fast but waited 45 minutes for the waitress to come and take our order. As we were getting ready to order drinks for the second time she brought us the bill and said our table time was over . Which the whole time we were waiting on her to get our order . Bad service they look mad when u ask them for something. They never came to sing happy birthday.
