Ive been eating here for 5 years. I'm not a weekly regular or anything like that, but I do know that they have delicious tacos de carne asada, also sometimes during the cooler months they have champurrado that is the absolute bomb. Yes they charge you for extra salsa and there is a fee for using a card which is no surprise, but the food is worth it. The place is clean and the food is always fresh. And if its not fresh they simply apologize for not having it and they don't sell it to you.and yes sometimes they might be watching the soccer game or the play offs, but they are speedy and friendly. Pay the extra buck get your tacos, salsa and chips and enjoy!
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Our order was accurate and Timely. Prices are very reasonable. This place will be our new go to place when my wife and I want this kind of food.
Little whole in the wall with great Mexican style breakfast, tacos , burritos and some seafood dishes. Currently only take out or delivery available. Food is tasty like spicy salsa get the red one? Specialty in the menu is there super burrito with meat of your choice feed 4-6 peeps or if you are brave enough to take on the whole thing?Closed on Tuesdays learned the hard way? always love coming in when they are opening and the smell of freshly cooked Asada opens up your appetite.
The food is really so delicious and clean environment.
This place has never lost its touch. Very clean . Fast , been coming here since I was a kid , same people running it , 17 years coming, brings me back memories from high school, I always get the same al pastor burrito, hidden jewel. Love it.
The good is quite good and they make it very quickly. The prices fluctuate and it's hard to pin down what they might be charging, and make note that they do charge a small fee for using a credit card (I believe it's about $0.50). It's a little pricey, but the food is well made and yummy. The food does travel well in terms of taste... But it's not always packaged well too go... Many times you'll end up with a mess of sauce and beans all over everything inside the bag. If that doesn't phase you, then definitely recommend this place, since the food is worth it.
Chilaquilles were not very flavorful and they were too spicy. It seemed like the sauce was added after the plating. They were a bit cold. Beans, rice and flour tortillas were very tasty. My order was not correct. I ordered scrambled eggs with one of the chilaquilles orders but, received easy over. Chille rellenos were decent. Over all the main items on the plate were a bit bland. Almost ordered guevos rancheros but I was told they came with scrambled eggs only. Not saying they were terrible just not too great.
Anywhere other than home i say hold the beans but this place even the beans are delicious... I highly recommend the shredded beef hard shell tacos
Never fails, just Delicious!! lunch for two or lunch and dinner for 1. You taste the freshness of all the ingredients. For under $14 this gotta be the best in LA. 5 stars all day.
