Very good hotdogs highly recomend this place. The cashier with pony tails was very patient and describe all hot dogs. I reccomend the flamethrower its very delicious and has a spicy kick. Good stuff will return

This is our first time at Dirt Dog in Downey they serve hotdogs but not your ordinary hit dogs these dogs are called L.A. Street dogs came from the street of L.A. They mix Mexican,El Salvador and American ingredients to make these L.A street dogs at Dirt Dog.
Come in to this place if you like hot dogs and esquite. This is really a good spot for a nice sausage. Don’t recommend the drinks nor any of the beers. Do recommend taking pics of your food next to one of the cool murals they have at this place. It used to be always packed but luckily now it’s majority dead which helps if you’re into good food and no crowds.
The rat problem…otherwise food taste great. The rat that ran into the kitchen then ran right back out ruined my appetite…The response from staff was crummy at best and we weren’t taken seriously at the time. However, we were NOT the only other customers who saw. Once staff realized we were not the only ones who saw, then they showed a tad bit of concern and closed the store. Offered no refunds and still kept taking to go orders.
Hot dogs chili dogs and dirt dogs. Very east LA and this place does a great job of encapsulating this. The flavors and toppings are very authentic. You can't miss dirt dog If you're in the area. Very iconic
It was a Hot dog joint me and my Girlfriend wanted to try for some time. After being in the area we stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed. The hot dog are filled with flavor as too are the fries. And for dessert a churro that was amazing.
Good , hot , fast , professional .. it was hard to pics a dog for like 15 minutes.
