We had take out, fish cake tteokboki, yup oh, and blood sausage. Great amount of food. However we felt the spicyness level was off. We ordered mild, which we have ordered before and it was significantly more spicy this time. I enjoyed it nevertheless but my little sister did not. Really nice blood sausages tho.
If you like the chewy korean spicy rice cake dish, you will love it! It is bit spicy so I recommend ordering the rice dishes as a side. The portion was good enough to be shared and service as good as well.
I mean it’s Yupdduk—can’t go wrong. Ordered 20 mins in advance, showed up and paid then enjoyed one Yupdduk (fish cake & rice cake doused in delicious sauce ranging from 5 different spice levels) w extra cheese & ramen noodles added + one cokes = $37. Well worth the price, as my partner and I had leftovers for two days after. There is a single restroom available inside reserved for customers only and it is very clean. Establishment has a B rating for whatever reason but all looks well inside.
To go with Dukk bokki with ramenPlease serve with ramen side.Ramen eats all the soup base. And it is pretty nasty to eat
Sometimes you need that special "too hot to handle" type of spicy food to rev up your engine after a long day. I'm talking about extra mild here is spicy enough kinda spicy and not five peppers is barely a two kinda Chinese food spicy. Get a mild if you need to sweat or medium if you enjoy pain. What's there to complain about. You get what you ask for. And you'll come back for more. Know what I mean?
Ordered the Yupdduk Oh $22 and added glass noodles $2. The portion can feed 3-4 people.. it’s pretty big! We waited for a good 30 min.. so give yourself some time when you come here! We got the mild spice and it was still too spicy for me. I want to go back and try the extra mild which the server said it’ll be sweeter. Apparently the original is equivalent to the fire noodles. Soo ask before getting the original.. it’s not packed inside but to go orders were consistent as we were there. This store is to the left of the supermarket. Parking is a bit hard so I’d suggest just to park anywhere you can since it’s a plaza and everyone shares parking. I definitely will be coming back since portion wise was big and a decent price.
Ordered the Mild YukDuk (#1) that has extra rice cake. Added extra rice cake and glass noodle, totaling $28. Keynote, they say the original spice level is the same as the Korean Spicy Chicken instant noodle, so you get a good idea how spicy this is. Mild is still pretty strong so most people should go for the extra mild. This bowl of food can feed two for both lunch and dinner, well worth the money.
Delicious, high quality, and super friendly, generous and helpful service. Doesn’t get better than this.
Being an avid foodie and mukbang watcher, I was on the hunt for a good tteok-bokki and let me tell you..Yupdduk did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and patient while I navigated the unfamiliar menu and the meal exceeded expectations! There are several options to add if you like more variety. The portions are definitely large so bring a friend or plan for leftovers! (Unless you're a famous mukbanger or competitive eater lol) I guess it speaks for itself that I've already come back less than a week later and dragged my boyfriend with. YUM!
Smallest portion is a gallon of fish cakes cocktail wieners, various noodles, mozzarella cheese and taco sauce. Best part is the pickled radish to wash the hot goopy seafood away.
