TERRIBLE SERVICE! Ordered dinner for my 81 year old grandmother and the El Pollo Loco on Diamondbar Blvd, who on their website, advertises that they deliver *not disclosing they deliver thru a 3rd party* Told me there was nothing they could do when my order showed delivered but HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED. The GM Michael (who was very unprofessional) said its "just the way it is"- they can't reach out to the driver, they can't refund my order and resend, nor can they refund me the tip. Why would I tip a driver who was incapable of delivering to the correct address/Not reading the direction provided?My other bone to pick is the fact that El Pollo Loco doesn't empower their management team to make things right for the customer. This was clearly not my fault and had it been disclosed that delivery was thru a 3rd party, I could have just selected to order via the 3rd party directly and have the ability to conjugate with the driver so this like this don't happen.I ended up having to order thru Uber eats directly and chose to order from a different location because I don't want my business going to a place where they don't value customer service and don't offer any solutions to help fix the issue.
Inconsistent portions. I always order a chicken tostada salad. Some days the tostada will be full. Other days it will only be about 75%. The dressing container is always changing. Some days it'll be about a tablespoon in a small container. Other days it'll be a half cup.
I ordered a 16 piece meal with the mixed pieces which is about 4 dollars more than thigh /leg variety. I ordered beans as a side, all for take out. When I got home, I had rice instead of beans and the thigh/leg pieces instead of the mixed pieces I paid for. When I called the store to let them know they got my order wrong and over charged me, they are too busy to answer the phone. This is the Diamond Bar location. You will need to unpack your oder there and check it before you leave. Don't assume they got it right./
Very friendly location and fast service
Well done! The chicken was well-cooked and fresh, the tortillas were nice and solid, and the Mac and cheese is absolutely amazing. It's still well priced for today's world, and should be your next choice when deciding where to eat.
Something different about this one, food is always so so good from this location. I’ve been to other stores and they aren’t the same as this location. Management & staff keep it up !
