This place has really terrible customer service. Listening to their conversation, everyone had a bad night at the casino and lost every NBA bets. Maybe that’s why the customer suffered. When asked for water, chili, and to go boxes, the replied was…”yeah, I’ll bring it later.”Our food was cold. They forgot my wonton noodle even though it was inputted. I guess the cook also had a bad gambling night.

Horrible service. It does remind me of some of the street food vendors in Hk offering great food and poor service. The difference is in Hk, they don’t expect a 18% tips.Updates: 4/7/22: Ordered a to-go congee last week and it was the worst ever yet. So they went from great to average to Stay away and do not ever go back in my list. The congee had tiny bit of meat inside and the congee was like water with cooked rice on the bottom. It was sooooo very diluted. Likely from leftover the night before. Sad!!

everything was good & fair price! fyi, the porridge is huge, still might have leftovers even if you share with others!*forgot to ask if they sell their wonton in frozen pack… so good that we’d like to bring some home to cook

First time we went the store says they are closed but their hours on the door and open sign was on. Second time we ordered in person it was good. Third time we called in 30 mins to order for pickup, showed up and they said they never got the order. The guy also gave an attitude and said if we order it will take another 30 min. Wasted gas and time. Will never go back.

Place food is delicious. Drinks are great. Recommend everything you see in the pic. Donuts and congee at this restaurant seem very limited, ordering ahead would be a good idea. And yes those donuts are fresh and crispy.

HK style congee specialty place, food was great but at high price point. Fishball & fishcake Noodle soup was so small and costs almost $12. I tried combination porridge before which was very delicious, just too bad it's pricy.

Already out of Chinese donuts at 9:40am? Sounds like somebody needs to plan better next time.Edit: I had already fully finished eating my meal by the time I was notified that there were Chinese donuts available. I ordered one, ate a very small piece to experience it fresh, and took the rest home. I would’ve preferred to have it at the beginning of the meal. Their response to my review is neither entirely truthful nor accurate.

This place has better congee than probably most of Hong Kong.Downside is that the congee consistently and flavor can sometimes be inconsistent. But still better than what you’ll find elsewhere around the area.Their other dishes can also be good, so make sure to try other things as well!

Been to Chan Kee a couple of times for chinese breakfast on weekends and we love it. The sitting area is very small, but we haven't had to wait for seating when we go at around 11am. Our go-to order is porridge and chinese donut and it's enough for 2 people. They serve the porridge in a big container that keeps the porridge hot, which is very good. The guy working the front of the restaurant is always very friendly and attentive. If you are in the Diamond Bar area, I highly recommend coming to Chan Kee.

Great local spot for hong Kong style noodle house. The noodle of the brisket noodle bowl has a great al dente texture, and the brisket is tender and juicy. My favorite will always be the Chinese donut wrapped in rice paper.
