BEST POKE I’ve ever had! Delicious poke bowl to have in the beautiful college town of Davis, CA. If you have 20 bucks in your pocket and you’re craving some poke then head out to Zumapoke to enjoy either a 3 scoop or even a 5 scoop bowl. This place has great customer service and each bowl is made so perfectly. Definitely worth the money and the drive from Sacramento.

Edit: I wrote a fair review of prices, service, and poke quality compared to the other poke places in Davis and West Sacramento.Unfortunately because of how the store is set up, it takes a lot longer than other poke stores to build your bowl. Only one person at a time works on it. Also the prices aren't great unfortunately, about 3-5$ more expensive than what I'm used to. For davis the price isn't bad, but a small bowl for 17 and large for 19 is kind of crazy, that's two meals right there. The next closest poke store is about 2-3$ cheaper with the same quality. The food was okay but I don't think it's affordable for students and it's not worth the price.

Zumapoke was recommended to me by an aide at my Physical Therapist's office. I had never tried Poke before, but since I like Sashimi he thought that, I would like it. I loved it! Had recently tried a place in San Diego, and all of their Poke was in a sauce with lots of onions. So I wasn't fully on board after that experience, as I dislike raw onion. At Zumapoke I was able to get a bowl the way I wanted. I went for half rice/half salad, 3 scoops of plain raw Salmon, Ponzu & Sriracha mayo sauces, my sides were seaweed salad, crab salad, edaname, pineapple, crispy onions, pickled cucumbers and ginger. The fish was fresh & plentiful. I'm not sure what the fuss was with the rice previously, but it was fluffy and well done, and not sour or vinegary. I loved the freshness of the greens and was very very satisfied. I am now fully on board the Poke Van.

After zuma poke opened a bunch of other restaurants in Davis suddenly started offering poke. Zuma is actual high quality Poke. Anything better and you need to drive to the bay area or fly to Hawaii.

Like the food there. Stuff is helpful and friendly. Food is of good quality and good flavor. Recommend this place as a light eat.

Good, fresh fish and the employees are all very kindI was a bit surprised about the prices though, it’s about 22$ for a bowl of poke with only two scoops of fish and some preselected toppings

The protein is good but why is the rice sour. Usually the poke I get the rice is fluffy and nice but this one is mushy and tastes like it has vinegar in it. I hope they change this or atleast give the option to get a different type of rice. The bowls are also super expensive. Must be the location prices.

The best yellow tail and hamachi I’ve ever had, this is coming from someone from the Bay Area too.Edit: not sure what happened this time maybe it was because I got ponzu sauce? The rice was unbearably sour. The fish was still good but the rice was really disappointing.

This is my favorite restaurant in Davis! Their food is always fresh and delicious. I like to order the spicy ahi and then most of the toppings with the spicy Mayo on the side. The atmosphere is very bright and clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Some ingredients tasted really bad — don't know if this is how they're supposed to taste but nothing was exceptional about the rest of the bowl nonetheless. There are better places in Davis.
