I wish I could express how impressed I was by this place. Their croissants are stellar. Crispy on the outside with that soft and buttery inside.Their loaves are delish and I love their baguettes. They are my choice for the the top of a French onion soup.Highly recommended.
Bought a loaf of sourdough wheat at the downtown Sac farmers market on 6/29/22. Spent $8. I will not buy this bread again. It is flavorless and tough. Don't see how someone could torture bread like this. Lesson learned.

Wonderfully prepared artisan baked goods that are fabulous in both presentation and taste. Prices are reflective of the high quality products they create. Their sweets are also terrific.Mostly takeout, but there are a few small tables outside, perfect for small groups stopping by on a walk or a bike ride.
Wonderful atmosphere and welcoming staff.The breads are excellent and fresh including the cakes and pastries. Will be back!
The absolute best French baguette, and the "Cotton Candy Sourdough" is so soft and fluffy, like Cotton candy, but the flavor of an authentic SF Sourdough, awesome for French toast.
