First time at this place. I have boba daily and this one just didn’t hit the spot. Once you enter through the door the warmth of the kitchen hits you in the face. The toys and seating area inside was kind of filthy so didn’t really want to sit there or stay long. We ordered through the self order station computer. Ordered the grape slushee with tea lychee and brown sugar boba milk that comes with boba already. The grape slushee was good for a few sips and then became too creamy and I ended up tossing it. The boba milk tea tasted really milky and felt like it was missing something, the boba was subpar compared to other places. The only reason for a 2 star is because of the decent prices and friendly staff that made our drinks super fast.
I saw a lot of of comments on not very good service, but it’s ok for me. The boba is not very good, too sweet for me and kind of over boiled. Fruit teas are good and milk teas are in the middle range. The green tea tea base is bitter.
I came to the whole place completely revamped. While they upgraded the aesthetic, they DOWNGRADED the actual products. Beforehand, they had a variety of tea flavors you could mix and match with and put in quality boba, and it was my favorite local place. Now, however, they have extremely limited tea options—and not even some classics like mango and such—and the boba is now melty and the flavors of the tea are bleh and bland. I will NOT be going there again, because I prefer quality over style.
The boba in the drinks are so gross and the tea itself seemed like it steeped a little to long. The price on the menu doesn’t match what they charged you. The place looks super nice and the music is loud. We really like the pink interior. However, the drinks themselves were gross.
Absolutely the best Boba milk tea place in the region!! Authentic ingredients, not much food dye unlike other places, and what's most - IT'S SUPER YUMMIE <3I drive from Arden Arcade to go there every weekend since the first try :)
I'm not usually a fan of boba tea, however, I did bring two experts with me to guide me through and sample some teas with me. This is a cozy little place in a strip mall just off 113 and far enough away from campus as to avoid traffic, so it's very convenient. It was busy in the mid afternoon but our order was ready very quickly. We ordered: Thai tea w/ Cream Brûlée, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, Oreo Brûlée Milk Tea, Tiramisu Milk tea, White Peach Oolong milk tea and finally, Popcorn Chicken. Before I get to the teas, I gotta say the Popcorn Chicken was fantastic. Good size portion and the perfect amount of spice. I'd go back just for the PC. Now, the teas. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan of boba but I did enjoy sampling all that we ordered. My favorite was the Thai Tea w/ Cream Brûlée then the Oreo Brûlée. My wife really liked the Peach Oolong and the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea with 50% sugar. My 15 yo liked them all and even saved the cups for the cute bunny. The only thing I have to complain about is that we didn't get the Tiramisu Milk tea. By the time we noticed, we were halfway through the extra Brown Sugar we got instead. We weren't shorted, just a mistaken order that wasn't caught in the beginning. We travel through Davis quite often so we will definitely be back. Me for the chicken and the Teas for the rest.
To be fair, the drinks here are 10/10 my favorite in Davis. But I hate this place so much. First they were out of mochi for 3 weeks. Once my friend and I came here some time in the afternoon and they were out of everything, except for fruit teas. Secondly, the customer service isn’t great. The girl was taking forever to take my order. I ordered 2 times of mochi toppings as well as a boba topping, therefore I ask them to put my drink in a slightly bigger cup and they rejected me. When I picked up my drink it was literally spilling out and it was all over my hands. Great job making my experience here so terrible.
the best music and large selection of drinks! Their branding and store is super cute! Their bobaristas also have great customer service and recommendations. Their strawberry matcha milk tea and Oreo brûlée boba are a must try!
I miss Gong Cha this new Boba place has food but Everytime I've gotten Boba in my tea it has been clumpy and gross and they just don't give you enough Boba like Gong Cha use to I'd rather Go to Mandro on Lake Blvd and get my passion fruit green tea
Paid the same price but changed large cup to medium cup without letting me know. Paid extra for oat milk to substitute black tea latte, but still got black tea latte. This was not the first time having mistakes.
