I visited here twice during my travels to Davis. I loved the clean and modern atmosphere. Great coffee and amazing bakery selection with vegan options.The service is what brought me back. Everyone I interacted went above and beyond, and was so friendly. Thanks for a great experience ?
Presentation is key!! Temple is an absolutely gorgeous specialty coffee shop in downtown Davis. They had tons of seating. Like moved quickly. My favorite part is how they have a pour over selection available to try. Love when shops do this. Also the pastry options looked INCREDIBLE! Vegan, Gluten Free, all the goods. Local baker as well.Lastly, the barista who rang us up was truly a gem. She genuinely asked us how our day was and what we were doing the the area, etc. Overall phenomenal experience.
They have lots of benches for outdoor seating at this location. I feel like the Matcha is really diluted and not enough powder...for the price of nearing 6 dollars. The latte is great though and worth the money. Strawberry jelly donut is fine. Fast service.
To sum this place up simply it feels like an Apple store that became a coffee shop. The utilization of space and the general design aesthetic resonates similarly to that of contemporary jewelers and luxury brands--sharp defined angles, smooth white stone, light wood accents, and small pops of greenery. It's a bizarre feel for a coffee shop, but the drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly.
The study environment at Temple is actually kinda amazing BUT I had to pay $6 for a Mexican hot chocolate that didn’t taste like it had any chocolate in it and they had absolutely no outlets for charging laptops. As such, I had to change coffee shops to keep working. The staff was friendly though.
Great coffee! Love the variety of single origin coffees and the different types of drinks available. It’s VERY popular with the local college crowd.
One of the greatest quality Latte's I've ever had. Muffins are also good. Staff are nice, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars in stead of 5 is that coffee and pastry is very expensive compared to similar cafes. It should read $$$ on the google instead of SS!
Went there recently and both staff members where great! So welcoming and attentive. Loved the espresso they had that day for the cappuccino. The danish bread was okay, a little dry, but other than that good!
Great coffee - not very acidic at all - and for non coffee drinkers, try the Enlightenment Tea Latte!
