Fast, cheap, and quality food ! Carnitas Chimichanga is huge, and shrimp salad was really good. Paired with house margaritas made for a fun, quick dinner. Recommended!
Indoor seating has the benefit of being next to the salsa bar, but outdoor seating is available. I got a take-out order of three quesabirria tacos for $11.45 (before tax). This is a new menu item and was recommended to me by their very friendly staff. I was initially overwhelmed by the wide selection of items on their menu and the counter staff was helpful, patient in helping me order. I pass on their recommendation to you, the quesabirria tacos are truly worth a trip here.Tender, slow-cooked beef with aromatic spices paired with a corn tortilla and complemented with a drizzle of melted cheese. Even before dipping into the consommé, the tacos were flavorful on their own. Dipping it elevates the taste as the consommé coats and soaks into the tortilla as if it was meant to be a pair. Onions and lime were served on the side, a welcome addition to cut through the oil of the consommé. They also provide a spicy sauce that could be poured onto the taco or into the consommé. El Burrito Taqueria is a great, affordable option for Mexican food! Quick wait time too, it only took about 15 minutes to prepare my order.
Worst place to get a coqtel. I paid $17 for hot broth with shrimp and avocado. So not worth it. My husband had a wet burrito which was good. Their pozole is decent too. But I am so upset that I sent $17 on hot broth with shrimp n avocado when I was supposed to have a cool coqtel with shrimp, octopus, tomate cucumber, n avocado flavored with ketchup n clamato.
Love this place. In my opinion, the best super nachos in Davis. They go hard with the cheese which is exactly how I like it. Everything I've ever had here was great, staff is friendly and the food comes out fast enough to eat on your lunch break with plenty of time to get back to work.
Ordered carne asada fries with chicken substituted for the meat. The chicken was very obviously raw. I don't understand how you think it's acceptable to serve chicken that's pink ....
Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine! Very flavorful. Courteous helpful staff. Carne asada fries were excellent but order it as a meal or to be shared. Large portions. Loved it!

Great menu of Mexican food. Staff very friendly and food is excellent! My favorite is their wet burritos with red sauce! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but they are huge!!!
You HAVE to try their Quesabirria tacos. I can't stress how delicious this was. It is crunchy but soft with cheese and the meat was super tender. The price was steep but it has a good amount of protein and it's completely worth it. We also had the wet burrito with green sauce. We got there before it got busy so it wasn't too bad. We will definitely be coming back for these items again.
The worst food. Ordered super enchilada, combination plate and super burrito. The staff were great and friendly. The ground beef was plain no flavor. The beans and rice were not good. The salsa were delicious. We all ended up getting stomach aches and dysentery. Would not recommend the food.
