Decent food and drinks. Patio lacks ambiance. Also, please Give the whole patio a thorough cleaning!
Went for a CE dinner this evening. Our server went above and beyond when informed I had celiac disease. Cannot thank him enough! Delicious food to boot!!!

We've always had good experiences here. It is one of our top choices for date night and double date night. Service is consistently very good and overall, the food is reliably decent. This time we were confident in ordering the cookies and ice cream for dessert, as we've had it before, and it was good. The cookies were not edible, and my husband tasted freezer burn on his chocolate ice cream. The cookies were so hard they could not be cut. What little piece I did manage to flake off was terrible. The menu says it's someone's mother's recipe and it is typically a large chocolate chip cookie. What they served were two small rocks that were not even close to a mother's recipe. What good is dinner out if you cannot look forward to a little calorie splurge at the end?
The make over and menu are great. They really stepped up to be great place in Downtown Davis. The remake is just what was needed and the staff was outstanding!! Food was delicious, creative, and fresh. Great job to the new team.
I love this place! I came in from Los Angeles and this is my second time here and both times it has been the best experience. The drinks are awesome (Peter Rabbit and the Cucumber mint margarita), the food is yummy (the pork chops tasted so good and worth it) and the service is spectacular! John and Ben made our day. They are the warmest and most fun people ever! We need more people like them and more places like this!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We sat on the patio and enjoyed being outside, but we were not prepared for the loud trains that passed by. They were not that frequent -- we were there for two hours and had three trains, but it was an amusing surprise!
Food was great. Variety of options for various food preferences. Beverage selection was large. Service was excellent. Ambience on patio is not terrific but it was our choice due to covid. I think it is one of only a few restaurants in downtown where I take Bay Area guests.
