This is the BEST Mediterranean food around, and Sam and his children have created an atmosphere in which everyone feels like family. Food is prepared fresh and quickly and is absolutely AMAZING.
After possibly going through all the options of food in Davis, we decided on Sam’s. It was exactly the right decision. They always seem to be out of something, in this case, rice and salad, so we ordered chicken shawarma pita wraps. They did not disappoint at all though! Extremely tender and delicious and juicy and SO flavorful. We ate them outside on the patio while enjoying the chilly little breeze and were in heaven. Love!

Nice restaurant, we enjoyed outdoor seating. They made the food so good and only took 3 minutes.I liked the shawerma, falafel, hummus and the salad. They have assigned parking in the back which made life easier.

the shawarmas are awesome, the staff is super down to earth. The wraps are superb, overall highly recommend Sams any day you are hungry

First off you walk in and you're greeted by the 2 daughters of the owner of the restaurant. Very traditional decorations and music of Palestinian culture. The order options are straight forward but to get lamb you have to ask. The prices are medium for the amount of food you get. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. Service is very accommodating as well. If you go try the mix shawarma platter and baklava dessert.
This was one of the best experience in a taste of Mediterranean cuisine. The variety of food offered met and exceeded our taste. The friendliest place coupled with great food - oh what an experience worth the try.
