Some of the best Indian food in Davis. There is no buffet because of COVID.
I really enjoy the environment of Preethi’s and I seriously want this establishment to prosper. Every worker I see there is always so welcoming and friendly, and I am a huge fan of their Vegetarian Biryani. The mild is a spiiiiicy in my book but I’m just sensitive to spice so I doubt any spice-veterans have to worry. The decor is wonderful and usually finding parking nearby is a breeze. Overall, a lovely restaurant.
The best garlic naan (sp?) O have ever had. I always order the lamb curry over rice. Very quick service, incredibly enticing food.
I would’ve given 0 if possible. I had the worst experience till date. The owner here is extremely extremely rude. The packaging was horrible, the way she spoke to the customers was extremely horrible. She refused to even give us any cutlery for take away food even after we requested her. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The worst place I’ve ever been to, I would recommend the owner to learn how to treat customers better if she owns a restaurant and as a person

Fantastic authentic Indian food! We feasted on all of our favorites. A little spicy, but a plain salt lassi does the trick to cool things off. We’ll definitely plan to stop here anytime we are passing through Sacramento.
The Chana Masala (garbanzo beans in spices) was all chicken? Ordered it under the vegetarian menu and it has no description of meat. If you are plant based, don’t trust this stuff.
Quality must have gone downhill. The tikka masala was super watery and a small portion. The rice is not indian rice but a sticky white rice. Not authentic or tasty.
EXCELLENT!!! Best Indian lunch buffet I’ve had in Northern California. The filling dinner options are rich hearty and flavourful while reasonably priced: solid good food. Very nice family run business.
