I was visiting my friend in Davis & we decided to go here. We played some games with our boyfriends & had a good time. The first time we ordered drinks the lady behind the bar was a little off, we played it off as maybe a new bartender. We went & got drinks again & she was falling over, couldn’t speak, nodding in & out of consciousness. Now at that point, we were concerned because 1. she is making us drinks & 2. It is HIGHLY ILLEGAL to be altered while behind the bar. This was actually the worst experience ever & the most dangerous.
Unprofessional thug like security who shake guys down at random and let women in no problem. Bs dress code too. I get stopped and frisked every time while entering. Unnecessary roughness and maybe a hint of profiling, guess they don’t like well dressed bearded middle eastern men?Major staff problem who thinks they run a 5 star club in Hollywood.. you are in davis.Staff and drinks are a lot better at Sophia‘s, everyone is better off there.
Went here with my friend and we were discriminated against cause he wore a tank top. They told us they dont want latino/black thug aesthetics. Also have had problems with me and my LGBTQ+ friends getting in. Do NOT go here if you are LGBTQ+ or BIPOC OR if you are an Ally to those communities.
Racist dress code that applies to poc! They blocked and Ignored the people speaking out about it. Clearly their clientele is white frat boys. Plz explain to me exactly why people can’t wear “gang colors” whatever that means or tank tops. Take your business elsewhere

Lots of security which is truthfully appreciated. When we went to order from the bar the bartender said they didn't have the ingredients for any of the cocktails on the menu. They did make a drink for us all that we liked though so that's a plus. Should update the website or have the needed items behind the bar.
The bartender Jeff was stellar, his drinks were on point and his attitude boosted the entire atmosphere. He was the best part of the night.
I went there one night with a fitted ball cap on. The guy said I couldn’t wear fitted ball caps so I went and grabbed a dad hat and turned it backwards to which he said it was ok. Head of security now comes up after waiting - again, and said no caps I explained to him that the other guy said it was ok. He was rude as hell and told me that “it didn’t matter, he was head and whatever he says goes”. I seen white guys in there with their hats backwards that night and in their most recent IG video. From the comments, it seems like it’s a racist establishment. Don’t waste your time at this place.
Used to be a sweet place to dance and have a good time. Security was cool. Now they have cover charges, take your picture when you come in, and an arbitrary dress code for the guys (which is just an excuse to kick dudes out) I was with a group of two guys and two girls and they shook the us down checking for any reason not to let us in. They decided on the sleeves of my friend not being good enough.
So I show up to this place with my girlfriend, and my girlfriend goes in first. They checked her ID fairly quickly and let her in. When it was my turn to get ID'd they took a very long time. Once I finished getting ID'd and tried to go in, this blonde lady stops me and tells me very rudely that there's a cover charge. They didn't ask the White guys that were in front of us for a coverage charge and they didn't ask my girlfriend (who's also white). My girlfriend and I simply walked away. I've heard prior to coming here that the owners were trying not to let in people of color, but I wanted to give this place a chance. After my experience, I can say that what I heard was true. I have never experienced such blatant racism like this in my life.
