We waited 30 min and they didn’t tell us that they couldn’t serve us due to an issue in the back which was a legit issue so I understand that but why have a party of 8 with a young child wait for nothing. Management was overwhelmed but polite. Hostess was polite as well. All in all better communication would’ve been nice. I’ll give them another shot but wasn’t pleased with the lack of communication
The food and drinks were pretty good. However I recommend to stop letting people come in and sit at 830 if the employees expect to go home at 9. When we sat we were immediately expected to order. The team started cleaning and putting away chairs nearby before our food came out. I asked our server what time they closed and she said 9. She said she got to home when we left. So we ate quickly and were out the door by 915. I don't blame the staff, but the doors should close earlier if the staff expects to go home at 9.

This Mother’s Day early dinner was one of the top dining experience in decades. The staff was super attentive, fast, smiling and knowledgeable under the hard working lady manager, who was setting the example in all areas with hands on hard work, while keeping the entire staff smiling and happy. The young and talented crew of kitchen staff shows fantastic training at this restaurant. I highly recommend it! The Boeger Barbera is out of this world, great choice to enhance the well composed menu. Congratulations!
I loved the correct amount of garlic the Capellinii. It's rare to find a restaurant that uses the right amount of garlic cloves to create an authentic taste. Perfect paired with a nice red blend. The Alfredo has the perfect consistency that doesn't over power the fettuccini and tastes delicious with a Pinot red wine to clear your pallet for the next bite. The tortellini with pesto sauce is not over powered by a strong basil taste. This restaurant produces good food and had become one of my favorites.
This place has some of the best Italian food in Davis! However, with that comes a higher price. I stuck with the fried ravioli appetizer and LOVED IT, but my friends ordered the shrimp scampi! Also, the ambience was wonderful, and I felt that I was in a high class restaurant.
This is our go-to dinner place when we are in Davis. As an Italian food lover who is also gluten free, it’s my all time favorite Italian restaurant.I always forget to get a photo before digging in!! Last night’s dinner was the baked pasta with their gf noodles. DEVINE!!Every dish we’ve had we have loved. Can’t go wrong. Oh, and a really fabulous meal for a really great price too. Pasta, salad, wine for 2 for under $50!!!Mangia
The staff is very attentive and the food is good. Ordered a Farmer's Market Salad and Spaghetti Carbonara for 2, both delicious and had to ask for a To Go box as portions are generous.
Yummy food, good service. Great place to come read a book alone and sit at the bar. My sandwich was AMAZING and the mock tail drinks are fantastic too.
The first time I ate here, the food quality was incredible and our server was so kind.Went again last night, everything was different. Food was really mediocre and our server was so unprofessional. She rushed our entire meal and barely checked on us. Horrible experience.
