I waited in line for 30 minutes just to get to the window and be told they're not taking orders anymore. only doordash this place is supposed to be 24 hours and repeatedly they turn people away in the morning saying the only taking doordash, the place isn't 24 hours , it's a roulette game every time you come here. don't wast your time . This has been going on for over 2 months now it's a joke just shut the place down if you're not going to take orders for people who drive up and wait in line
My friends and I were going in the drive thru around 1:30am and usually it takes about 20-30 min to wait for a line of 5 cars. So we were pretty patient with the expected wait. When we got to the ordering machine, we started ordering while taking turns telling them our order. The employee would say "anything else's" or "is that it" without repeating the orders back to us, so we weren't sure if she ever heard each of our orders. So because of that, we had to repeat some orders or say it a little louder to make sure she heard us. All of a sudden, she says "you don't have to scream, if you're gonna be rude get out of the line I'm not going to take your order." We sat in silence because we didn't expect such a reaction, because we did not intend to be rude or screaming. We were pretty disappointed, not only that we waited so long to not get our food, but that we were given such hostility for just trying make sure we could get our orders right by trying to help her hear us.
I've gone here many times. Sometimes the drive thru takes ridiculously long, as many other reviews say. The food is usually good, but sometimes not. Today they actually served me spoiled chicken, so I hope I'm not sick tomorrow :/
This particular J n B downtown Davis exudes a foul greasy smell that wafts across several blocks. If this is marketing,it’s a mistake with so many other better smelling n tasting food restaurants nearby. If it’s due to rancid grease being vented out I’m thankful there are few nearby residents breathing that air while at home. It didn’t smell that bad or so far away until about 16-18 months ago.
So many good restaurants around here and you'd decide to come to Jack in the box I hope nothing else was open ?. Came with friends and we got some food since wasn't a whole lot opened. Taste I'd give it 2/5 greasy and Harty is all ?
Went thanksgiving night around 11:30pm just to realize the next day that the girl at the window never returned me my card and went shopping at a bunch of stores in davis.
Kind and courteous staff. Clean and the food o had was well made.
Worst fast food in town! Waited almost an hour in the drive through! To top it off they didn’t give me what I ordered!?
