I live in a neighboring town and was looking for a place that makes Takoyaki and was super excited about finding this place. Waited until I arrived before placing my order and it was nice being able to come home and my food still being hot. Ordered a volcano roll and some yaki soba on top of the takoyaki. All of it was super delicious! Very friendly staff and will definitely be a repeat customer.
There food is Allways good but something happened the last 2 times we went they are allways forgetting something in are order, and bento box teriyaki with little to no sauce on it, had to drive back twice to get the sauce for the dry grilled chicken, maybe new cheifs and employees but never seen it that dry why call it teriyaki bento box without the teriyaki just saying alot of wasted time driving back and forth across town. It's not what it use to be.
If you don't expect sushi, the food is not bad ??♂️

Sushi was really only okay. Their fish is not the best quality. I don't think I'll go back.

Bento box sesame chicken was a bit hard to chew. Would be better if sesame chicken was softer. Rolls I ordered were pretty good. Would go back. Next time try teriyaki chicken for bento box.
This place took over the location of Sushi Unlimited. They still have some rolls inspired by those from Sushi Unlimited for loyal customers of that place. Great deal for all you can eat, tasty affordable sushi, nice staff and good amount of appetizers! Update: LOVE THE LION KING ROLL! SO YUMMY. Food has improved even better than when they first opened. They are taking health precautions and just the front part is open. I recommend it.
Every other sushi place in Davis makes terrible sushi rice and doesn’t cut the fish right. I love sushi is the best sushi place here
Their stuffed mushrooms are so yummy haha.
