I cannot recommend Hunan anymore. While they were my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area 10 years ago, they have dramatically gone downhill since then. The quality of food based on their price is not worth it anymore. Some of their items and their menu have yet to be in stock 6 months later, specifically their egg flower soup. If you order for delivery and no drivers are available, they cannot contact the company that manages their deliveries. Please use a domestic delivery company so we are able to appropriately communicate.
I have never been so disappointed in a Chinese restaurant I ordered general chicken n veggie fried rice to go ,when I got home I realized there was no chicken … only the skin literally not one piece of meat. Then I go to eat the veggie fried rice and it was full of bean sprouts I’m not opposed to a few in there but this dish was more bean sprouts then rice.
So good! The food is delicious. We are from Oklahoma, and this stuff is just flat out delicious. We got egg rolls, sesame chicken, white/fried rice, and beef. All of it was good. It's rare at home we would go to some sort of asian cuisine and like all of it. But this place got it!The free tea pushed it over the top for me, just awesome!P.S. my wife says it's the best fried rice she's ever had

The food is absolutely delicious y'all. However I was just a bit disappointed not to be able to find chow mein made with bean sprouts ordering with crispy noodles... But the food is absolutely AMAZING, and very nice people
Super glad that Hunan was open Christmas Day. We were having people over and planned for Chinese. All the other places in Davis were closed.

Very good food and great service. I liked the complete Diner for one option. Priced at under $20 it's perfect for a business traveler.
Chicken fry rice. Chicken with hot garlic sauce, orange chicken, veg rice. All were very delicious.
