I went in on a triple digit day just to wait while my wife had a manicure nearby. I was practically the only person there. After about 10 minutes I asked about using wi-fi and was told that it was for paying customers only. I thought okay, it doesn't cost them anything and it's called goodwill but whatever. I wondered how long they would let me sit there which was answered in about 5 minutes when another non paying customer and I were told to leave. I think there was one other person in the store. I asked why and was told I hadn't bought anything and that they were a family-owned business. I said I was sitting in an otherwise unoccupied chair, only breathing the air, and how did that cost them anything. They said I was trespassing on private property and would call the police if I didn't leave immediately. I make a point to avoid Starbucks and the big box stores and shop locally-owned but Common Grounds is dead to me.
The owner is an absolute rude person. Witnessed her kick two people out today for not purchasing something they were only there for about 15-20 min time frame
$7 for a frozen, watery, microwaved burritoEdit: the owner responded really quickly to my review and I gave them another try today. The bagel with tomatoes and cucumbers was beautiful and delicious! Thank you for working to improve customer satisfaction.
This store should not allow pets inside. Today one dog was vomiting?? I will take a picture next time and upload it.

What a refreshing change from my usual. This coffee shop has a welcoming ambience, and as a bike rider, I enjoyed the theme. It also has a book share. I will visit again when in that neighborhood.
My bestie took me here because this is her fave coffee shop in Davis. If I lived there too, it’d probably be my fave!Literally so many options for amazing sounding drinks. Lots of milk alternatives to choose from too.I got the Aztec Mocha as a frappe and it legit tasted like Mexican hot chocolate. So good.They have a points system where you can earn rewards. The indoor and outdoor seating are very nice too!

Great service and fast. They have 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 breakfast burritos(organic)! Great place to stop by for coffee and smoothies too!
Wonderful little shop, great coffee and great atmosphere! I got the lavender vanilla latte (iced) and i highly recommend it!
