One of the most beautiful coffee places in the area. It has a lot of charm and character. The food and the drinks are excellent. The staff are friendly. What a hidden gem in Davis. If you are in the area, you need to try it out. They serve a variety of drinks and they are so good. The panini sandwiches are scrumptious. My all time favorite place for coffee/ juice and sandwiches. I have not been disappointed. Highly recommended!

I've come a few times now and it's regularly been super expensive and not really worth the price. Having no wifi I can kind of understand from a monetary POV, but it feels a little anti-student for a business less than a mile from UC Davis- and splitting the seating into laptop vs no laptop feels very alienating. I love the outdoor seating however, and the employees were very kind but the price of the coffee and food isn't quite worth the quality. My sister's cold brew, even with cream added, tasted so acidic and bitter that I feel like they were steeping it for over 24 hours (almost undrinkable, and the after taste was awful), and my mochas were all more like warm chocolate milk. The owner, if a little unapproachable, did give me a refund for the cold brew which I appreciate, and other than that, it's a nice place to sit and have a chat with people or be outside for a while and read a book.

Expensive mediocre coffee. All hype no follow-through.Food is expensive too - avo salmon toast was $15, literally a piece of toast with 1/2 a chopped avocado and some lox on it.Insane price for just okay food, terrible value.Additionally, NO WIFI, and limited seating to do work. No plugs for computer either so students are discouraged.

Great place with good coffee but no wifi is really a turn off. I do not see myself coming back because of that, which is a shame because I really liked the service and coffee

The food was not as described SIPER overpriced and not remotely good, the bread was hard and the panini was not grilled. The cheese wasn’t even melted. They only serve in plastic and paper, a serious disappointment.

Refusing to remake a ruined poached egg.Cloud Forest Cafe charged me $12.50 plus tax for avocado toast with a poached egg. I should have known the amount of food would not be enough for the price, but I was fine with it. Then I cut into the egg to find it nearly hard boiled, with only a little bit of it soft like a poached egg is supposed to be. I considered just leaving it be, but for $12.50 they could at least poach the egg. I went back and they said I would have to pay for a new egg. I was not about to pay for what should have been good in the first place, so I sat back down.Luckily, the cashier who took our order was amazing. She was so nice when she helped my girlfriend and I initially and when she presented my egg to the kitchen. Later, she came out with a fresh poached egg that seemed like she either convinced the kitchen staff at length or paid for it out of her tip. We were honestly moved by how kind she was.If you're reading this, thanks again. You're great, queen.

Over all, pretty lame. The downsides, there is no Wifi here, the whole café is segregated into 2 half, one half where laptops are allowed and one half where they are not. Everything is very expensive and overpriced, service is slow. The upside, cool atmosphere and nice music, good location and not too busy.

Wonderful place to grab breakfast! Staff was very helpful and friendly!

The venue here is very nice, it has excellent outdoor seating and once covid is gone the inside seating seems very nice too! Their specialty coffees (lattes, etc) are very well made, the barista really takes his time to make them excellent. The food is also quite good, very moist scones and the panninis are simple and delicious. I highly recommend the Cloud Forest Cafe in Davis.

Very nice fresh juiced juices. They juice right there, as you order. High quality and fresh! The food was good, but overpriced. Had salmon avacado toast, and found it to be very ordinary for $15. Single slice of toast, not super tasty. Definitely could make that at home. $40 for 2 small juices and avocado toast.
