Such a beautiful location, but the owner, Richard Villarreal, steals tip money from his employees. There is documented evidence of his crimes, and an ongoing investigation. He even stole tips from a 17yo employee. Please don’t support this business.
The service and food here is amazing! They served me my Fettuccine del Mare and immediately asked if I needed salt or pepper. They also let my family sit near the water and allowed us to move the chairs since the table was originally for two. The Arnold Palmer (lemonade and iced tea) was very neat. Overall I love this place and highly recommend.
Great lunch! Sat in the bar. Evwn though only a handful of patrons, the ambience was warm. The staff was great! Food was amazing. We ordered the sizzling shrimp appetizer, which was great..but the sauce was the BEST! I asked for some bread to sop it up...OMG! They brought sliced, grilled sourdough to dip. Seriously the best bread I've ever had. Reminded me of garlic Naan, but the texture and smokiness from.the grill took it over the top. Fish.and chips are a MUST! Just go there!
Went there for dinner. Had myself the old-fashioned wagyu burger; delicious. Fries were ridiculously good as well. I'm not from the area, but will definitely hit them up again when available. 5/5
We returned to the Grill recently for lunch because the restaurant has such a beautiful location. This time we sat inside because it was way too cold to sit outside. We were given a very nice table by the window so we could watch the ducks and water. We ordered a bottle of the Brancott Sauvignon blanc which we have ordered before so we were familiar with it. When our server brought the bottle she asked if we wanted to open the bottle ourselves and we said sure because we have ordered it before. Without looking at the bottle my husband poured the wine. I took one sip and it was not good. Turns out this is a “light wine” (see picture). It was our bad that we did not inspect the bottle before we opened it however there was no place on the menu where it stated it was a 20% less lighter/9% Alc/Vol. – they should note that on the wine list. We just decided to keep it and I ordered an inividual glass of a proper wine. So we then ordered our lunch. We were going to share everything so I ordered the full Caesar salad ($13) with a side of the Salmon (extra $18) and the garlic shrimp appetizer ($15). When the food came, they brought the salmon entrée ($27.00), full Caesar and the shrimp appetizer I asked our server if the portion of salmon that they brought was a side portion and she said no and if we wanted to order the side, the kitchen would take a while before it came out. Rather than wait, we just kept the salmon entrée which they charged full price for the entrée even though she got the order wrong. The food was very good however I took away a star because of the mishaps on the ordering. This is still a nice restaurant but you will ned to be aware to check your order carefully. The stars are for the food and ambiance.
We hosted a group of 25 and Evelyn was amazing to work with. She helped me prepare the menu in advance and the process went off without a hitch. Our servers were friendly and attentive. The food options we choose came out hot and everyone commented on how great the food was. The Tuna Wontons were everyones' favorite and the sliders were a close 2nd. Highly recommend eating here. We will be back and will keep this restaurant at the top of our list for future events.

Lovely outdoor setting. That was the good part. I went because they said “Vegan Options”, but when we got there the only vegan item on the menu was stir fried vegetables. The waitress said they could make salads vegan by leaving out x, y, and z, but they had no truly vegan meals. I had the beyond burger sans cheese and sauce. It was food. Unremarkable. My husband said the ribs were tough and not very good. Service was a bit slow although the waitress was friendly enough. Just a blah, disappointed meal.
