One of the best pizzas in America. That is it… plus, I don’t feel weird coming here. There is no rainbow flags nor BLM stickers. This is a great place to bring your family or a date
Food was good basic Italian...one of our plates came out cold. Our waiter handled the unfortunate situation with aplomb. The owner brought out another that was hot and delicious. Service was 5 star. But still for creating I would rate it 3.5 -4.
I found a great place for Italian dining in this side of the Bay. The ambience inside is beautiful and cozy. The ambience outside is exceptional on a sunny day.We ordered fried zucchini as part of their special appetizer, octopus salad, Maine lobster pasta and vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge for dessert. No orders of us is a fail. Our waiter was I think too flirty and even winked at us lol He is very cute but we find it a little bit too much for pleasantries. Maybe it is the European way haha
Came here at prime dinner time without a reservation. Inside was pretty busy so we were given the option to sit outside under the open air tents and heater. It was pretty windy out but with warm jackets and hot water, we made it through. The app bread was soft and tasty. The bowl it came in made it difficult to get to the vinaigrette, but still tasty. The calamari also had a surprisingly good taste and texture but it came out lukewarm, which the wind outside accelerated things. We both ordered the special of the day. He loved it. I however thought it was too gamey. The waiter was super cool about letting me order something different. I went with the lasagna and loved it! Hot, huge portion, bursting with flavor, simple but cute presentation. Easily my go to meal there. Would definitely return but with a reservation for inside or outside on a warmer night.
We have been here a couple of times before but I never wrote a review! This time we decided to enjoy their HH menu. The menu was great and what a price performer!! Their location in Danville is very peaceful ad not right on the main drag. They have nice seating inside, outside and along the sidewalk in front. This time we sat outside on the walkway and enjoyed the sunshine. We ordered: - HH prosecco and Pinot Grigios – all nice and $5 per glass - 1 Pizza Margarita – cooked perfectly, nice crunch on the crust with a little chew $9 - - Seasonal salad $9 - Shishito peppers – amazingly HUGE portion took most of it home $9 - 1 Margarita pizza with pepperoni $9 Everything was delicious and cooked to our liking. Would love to return here to try their entrees. Highly recommend!
Good food, awesome desert and very friendly staff
I was looking for an Italian restaurant with reasonable $$ Lacando Ravello came up. First time being there and I had a great time. Food and customer service was great. I'll definitely will be going back.
Food was excellent. Had the gnocchi with truffle oil in a cream sauce. Bread was fresh, salads were fresh. Waiters were friendly and attentive but a little expensive for lunch.
My wife and I saw Locanda Ravello on an episode of "Check Please". From what the reviewers said it sounded like a nice place and I decided that I wanted to go there for my birthday. We usually don't go somewhere new for a special occasion but decided to chance it. Well it turned out to be a mistake. Honestly we just don't see what other people see in this place. The ambiance was nice and it seemed that everyone working there was Italian so we thought we were in for a treat. We ordered the meatball appetizer to start with along with a glass of wine for my wife and a cocktail for me. They were okay but the meat had been worked too much and they weren't very tender. Then we waited and waited for our dinners to come. We noticed that others who came in after us had finished their dinners and left. We asked our waitress if our food was coming soon and she looked like a deer caught in the headlights. She asked what we ordered. We told her that my wife ordered the ravioli and I ordered the gnocchi. I told her: "Remember I asked if I could get the gnocchi with Bolognese sauce and you had to go ask the chef for permission"? She still didn't seem to remember. She never once apologized for totally forgetting our order. Before leaving we got a pizza to go for the following night. The pizza left a lot to be desired. It was skimpy on cheese and toppings and was very, very bland. I would highly recommend that you go somewhere else. I know we will.
The hospitality was gracious. The ravioli with lobster was exquisite. The homemade lasagna was the best! Cocktails delicious! Thank you for such a wonderful birthday lunch. Our waiter was 5 star!
