Went for a hike and we were excited to try this place! We ordered Nashville chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. They were good and juicy. But they should put a note about the NV chicken sandwich being dipped in bacon oil…Chicken tenders were probably the highlight of the meal.
I’ve had a chicken sandwich lunch several times now and enthusiastically recommend the Hen House. The Chicken sandwich is delicious, made to order, served piping hot, with a choice of tasty sides. I had the lunch combo (sandwich, fries and drink) for ~$10. You won’t leave hungry! It’s delicious and the best value in Danville!
I stopped in for a quick bite for dinner on the way home from work. A 6 piece was$19.99. It was a little rich for my blood so i opted for a chicken ranch sandwich and an order of curly fries. The flavor was good.
This is a cheap chicken place. The cheapest compared to other places!For you people complaing about the Nashville options being greasy. Please look at what Nashville is - bacon fat /Lard and tons of spices. If you asked for nashville of course its going to be somewhat greasy! You asked for it! LOOK IT UP! Cant believe the last review. Do not be negative on your fault choices and take it out on a tiny business!I highly recommend eating here!
The taste was "OK"My biggest problem the food was literally served submerged in oil i tried to remove the oil, i soaked 10 brown napkins in the oil under the chicken pieces to try to make it better, as well as the sandwiches you can see how much oli in the bread.One more last comment the tables was very dirty and even when we asked the staff to clean it he didnt , and end up we clean it to be able to use it.

I absolutely LOVE their chicken fingers. They’re not greasy and the outer layer of breading is super crunchy. The chicken inside is always fresh and moist, and obviously fresh. Their fries are salty and they actually taste like potatoes :) That’s all I’ve had so far and I’ll come again :)
Got the Nashville hot sandwich level two and it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Perfect spice to flavor ratio, juicy meat, and crispy all at the same time. Also ordered a side of garlic fries which were also very good! Will definitely be coming back in the future.
Top fried chicken sandwich east of the Calidcott tunnel. Next visits I'm going to progress up the 3 levels of the NashvilleChicken tenders were a bit heavy on the breading, but otherwise great flavor.Also had the Mac and cheese which was also excellent
Curly fries and the Chicken sandwich were good. Very good portioning.
