Tucked inside a historic 19th-century building is an industrial gastropub serving house brews. Danville Brewing Co has mastered the art of incredible food with great craft beer. Since opening in 2016, they have won several prestigious awards. In 2017, they won a bronze for their double IPA Chux and in 2020 they won a silver for their barley wine style ale called Granny Tripple. In addition, they were voted best brewery of the East Bay in 2020 and 2021. This would be a great appetizer and beer/cocktail date spot. Find a cozy corner and enjoy an adult beverage and appetizer. If the date is going well, there are plenty of places to explore in downtown Danville. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
Jake was a decent server, only complaint is he could have been a little more attentive, but he had a great attitude and overall demeanor. Appetizers were the Summer Bruschetta and the house buffalo chicken wings. Both were great. House made lemonade was also really good, if a bit tart. Bacon Bourbon Mary was good, but I wouldn't necessarily order it again.Everything went downhill shortly after ordering dinner. Jake returned to the table and informed us they were out of rice for the Loco Moco and Poke Bowl we ordered. My daughter changed her order to the fried chicken sandwich, but asked to substitute standard mayo for the Sriracha mayo. My wife ordered the Chicken BLT with avocado and also asked that regular mayo be substituted for the jalapeño mayo, and ordered an additional side of garlic mashed potatoes. Both of their sandwiches were served smothered with the jalapeño mayo and the Sriracha mayo.I asked him to serve the Loco moco on a bed of fries, and my brother ordered the money burger. We were asked how we wanted them cooked and we both requested them rare. They were both served beyond well done instead and were incredibly dry, despite the Loco moco being smothered in gravy and egg yolk. My brother said besides the cook on his burger the rest of the sandwich was excellent. My son ordered the child's pepperoni pizza, and while it looked good, it didn't arrive until I had almost finished my food after waiting to eat with him until it was almost cold. When it was delivered we requested the check and while we waited for Jake to return with the check my wife's side of garlic mashed potatoes was delivered. The dish was hot, but the potatoes themselves were ice cold.I would give two stars- one for Jake as nothing that transpired was his fault and one for the drinks and appetizers. In the unlikely event that I returned to the Danville Brewing Co. for anything more than appetizers and drinks, and that is all I could recommend to anyone else.
Excellent service, great food and great drinks. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here. My Spring Lager was great and the appetizers were delicious. Loui was an amazing waiter the entire time. For food, the bruschetta was amazing and my girlfriend loved the happy hour nachos. I would definitely recommend.
Had a good time here today. Steak salad was really good my buddy also enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. Super friendly staff and lots of room inside and outside to hang. Tons of local beers but wasn't drinking today unfortunately.
Food and brew place, good food, price has gone up a bit. Great place to hang out, but it can get very busy. Service can be a little slow, depending on your server.
Matt and Sebastián are great brewers with lots of award winning beers. The food is good, too, and the service is absolutely fantastic.
This brewery did well in the 2022 Double IPA festival so we had to come check them out. The IPL that we tried was good and so we're the barley wine and kettle sour with key limes. Will definitely stop in again next time we are passing through Danville.
Awesome beer selection, good service and good food
Friendly and fast service. Great atmosphere and vibe. Beers come ice cold from the tap. Highly recommend the ahi nachos. Fantastic place to hang out with friends for a cold beer and tasty bites.
fantastic beer and staff!
