Good pizza EXTREMELY expensive! $35+ for a small! ???
Reliably good pizza, plus a neighborhood bar. Service though is only fair and prices are stupidly high. Better be a special occasion to spend that kind of dough.
Service is rude and utterly useless. Pizza is meh at best and ridiculously expensive. TVs were all playing infomercials. Felt like a pizza joint from Idiocracy. While I support family owned businesses, it’s usually contingent on either a great product or great service or a combination of both. This one failed on both fronts. Womp womp.
It's unfortunate how this place has gone down hill and is now a pale version of its self. Back like 10 years or so ago, it was actually pretty good and cool place with cool people, always overpriced, but at least a cool place to hangout. But the owners tried to expand in San Ramon and Pleasanton and completely ruined these cities with their disgusting clientele and favoritism to certain protected classes. The owner or the guy who's in charge is a complete jerk, gives nothing away even if you spend thousands of dollars over time. The wings are a joke, the pizza is way overpriced, and the people of Danville and Blackhawk like cho and zunis and kongs are disgusting people that they allow to frequent their establishment. Go to Garlex pizza, it caters much more to women, children, and families is a clean atmosphere unlike Ascona which should close its doors and pray that it does not disgrace the area more than it has for many years. Garlic, Garlex is the bomb! Peace out you fake CEOs who like the Giants! Karma will hit you back starting with your bald heads!

Great pizza and very customer oriented ownership.
I have good childhood memories of eating here. But my recent experience left a lot to be desired. The pizza wasn't that great and the service was about what I remembered. The pizza is really what brought me back but it turned out to be nothing like what I remembered. The pizza used to be just completely covered in cheese and pepperoni. Nearly every one of the pepperoni turned into a little crater of grease which was a beautiful sight to behold. When I got the pizza yesterday it had some cheese on it and some pepperoni but it reminded me more of pizza that I got from my elementary school cafeteria I did the Asconas that I used to get.
I would like to write this review to two excellent employees that go by Charlie and Amy, I came in the other day and got my own medium pizza and Charlie and Amy were super sweet and hilarous and were both very hardworking respectful employees. Love them both they're great and always bring a smile whenever I come in.
