We think this is the best sushi in Danville! Our food server was excellent and the food was the best. All five of us said it was the best sushi ever!

This was my first visit to Aozora, but it will not be my last. My friend and I both had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Our server, Nathan was friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive. Plenty of parking and the atmosphere was pleasant.
We love this restaurant! Sushi is a bit pricey but very, very good. Service is very good, though they were quite busy on Sunday and it took a while to get drinks and get some trash removed from the table. It wonât deter us. They are normally very attentive and quick to respond. We come here often and always enjoy our dining experience!
Excellent quality of fish. Service was quick and friendly. We had the white chocolate panna cotta for dessert and it was delicious.
Good dinner. Understaffed. Could be better. The cooking seems a bit rushed. Itâs been better in the past when it was better staffed.
Our server was excellent. The timing of the delivery of our food was great - not too long of a wait, but a noticeable spacing between our first two dishes we ordered as starters and the roll and nigiri we order second. The quality of the food was excellent. The tempura was nice and light with no residual grease. The Mekabetsu was amazing, and the sushi was of excellent quality.
Service is still a bit slow and spotty - bus boys are improving!
We got great treatment, especially since my date had lived in Japan and had special requests which were responded to. This is a top-notch Japanese restaurant, in a beautiful setting under redwood trees.
