Greeted by excellent staff. Beautiful harbor view. First time any of us ever coming here and it won't be our last. We sat in the dining, next time it'll be in the patio. Thank you for making us all feel welcomed.
Great location and view. Food was fine for the location and price. But their “policies” and respect were subpar and put a damper on our meal… Immediately upon being seated at our table, before we ordered, we asked to move to an empty table by the water. We were told by the hostess that because we were already seated, if we wanted to move, we would have to get in back of the long line of people who were waiting to be seated….. so we stayed put and mentioned to the server that we would like to move to the more desirable table. She said it holds five people and there were only two of us, so that’s why we couldn’t move as there were only two of us.As we sat and ate our meal, we witnessed five parties of two being seated at the tables we were told they like to reserve for larger parties. Not only that, we witnessed another party of five being moved to another table of their preference.No, not the end of the world, but a frustrating experience, especially because it was a special and rare occasion for us to get out like this and a $20 nacho plate $14 tiny margarita should be enjoyed!!

I decided to eat here after I went on Capt Dave's Dolphin/Whale seeing tour. I ordered Halibut, asparagus & I believe mashed potatoes. Ice Water & Herbal Tea. Excellent!
The restaurant is located at the Dana Point Harbor. Great views of the marina, ample parking, indoor & outdoor seating is available (the indoor tables require reservations while the patio is on a first come, first serve basis). Our service was excellent, and the fish entrees we ordered were fresh.
