Headed over to Turks while Waiting for our boat to Catalina. Ordered a bloody Mary which was mediocre at best, and noticed that the bartender was not Friendly at all... 1st impression was BAD!. Decided to sit down and order some food.... 2nd mistake on my part. The waitress was rude , never smiled and was not Helpful at all..... Never checked on us even once. If you have a restaurant in a tourist area you think you would have people working with a little bit more of a Fun friendly attitude. Needless to say we will never be back.
The fish and chips were great! The bear is cold and the seats outside have a great view. Great place to come and chill looking at the harbor.
Love this bar but I don’t understand why everybody likes the fish n chips. Literally the most bland tasting fish I’ve ever eaten. My balls after a long day at work has more flavor (so I’m told) Other than that the vibe here is nice.
Service was good. The place when we got there around lunch time was really loud so it's hard to have a conversation. Food was alright. It's a safe spot for a late brunch but nothing spectacular.
This is not only a tourist seaside area bar but also many locals inside. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender and some local fisherman. I had the fish and chips which were very light white fish with no fishy flavor. One of their house favs. My husband had the chicken club sandwich. Both were delicious. Drinks were also very good. Atmosphere is a true fisherman’s bar by the marina. Very nautical with a fish tank mounted directly above the bar which was very cool.
It’s mainly a and that’s fine. Mimosa was good. Bloody Mary was just ok but breakfast was not great.
We love to come here for a quick bite to eat after our walks …

This is a nice little place in Dana Point harbor. The staff works hard, and it seems to be a local favorite. Its well decoraded and there's lots to see while you eat or drink. A little too cramped for me personally, but I had a pretty good lunch there. I highly recommend the fish & chips.
Well you can't beat Turks for price, decent food and friendly service, in a neighborhood of mediocre high priced, ocean front dining.If you Love the funky, neighbood bar/restaurant vibe a visit is worth it.Order the fish and chips if your doctor allows it ?. You can substitute a salad for fries?
